  • Works
Not a lot of product but enough to fill holes and scratches on my 17’ key west. Comes out hard. Best to cut with razor blade/sand before it gets too hard

  • Great product for dock rash on my gelcoat!
I had some dock rash on my jet skis. This product works well. Easy to use. It does tend to shrink up just a little bit so you may have to apply a second time to make it flush with the existing gelcoat. I would recommend mixing in the touch up paint into this material. That way it dries similar in color to the existing gelcoat. My jet ski was red so when I sanded it down the patch showed up white. Most gelcoat is white so this may not be much of an issue. But for colors I would recommend mixing in color. It dried fast and felt hard. I would definitely buy again. Great product! ... show more

  • A little expensive for what it is but very convenient.

  • Okay
It works but strictly for tiny, maybe the size of a nickel filler or less. The tabs are not large enough for my fingers, and so trying to squeeze it out of the two was a real problem. Plus, the thickness and consistency made it even harder to get it out and into the cracks. It does Harden accordingly, but I would not buy it again it’s too much trouble. ... show more

  • Don't Have a Boat? Use it to Seal Wood Outdoors.
I don't have a boat. My need for something like this was maybe a bit unusual. I was looking for a convenient marine epoxy to seal the bottoms of the legs on a nearly 20-year-old picnic table that spends most of the spring and summer on an outdoor deck exposed to the elements. We've sanded and recoated spar varnish several times but never paid attention to the bottoms of the legs until this year when I noticed they had become uneven from soaking up water. I figured sealing the bottoms, after sanding smooth, should keep water out for a while. Multiple coats of spar might not have been enough. So I ordered this stuff, because I had previously used a different brand of marine epoxy on the bottoms of porch columns and the exposed ends of porch flooring at home. It was easy enough to mix and apply and even though I wasn't necessarily looking for white color, the bottoms don't show. Assuming this product stays on Amazon, I'll be back with an update next year to report on how it held up. ... show more

  • Repaired it
I recently purchased the Cocomfix Fiberglass Repair Kit to address small holes and chips on my fiberglass canoe. This repair kit features ultra-strong epoxy and filler, specifically designed for quick fixes of minor damages, such as small chips and deep cracks. The standout feature of this repair kit is its convenience for addressing small fiberglass damage. The ultra-strong epoxy and filler provided in the kit offer a practical solution for repairing minor chips and cracks. These materials are easy to work with and provide sufficient strength to restore the integrity of the fiberglass in small areas. The quick-fix nature of the kit is particularly useful for immediate repairs on the go. It allows you to address small damage without having to undertake extensive repairs or seek professional assistance. This convenience ensures that you can quickly and effectively fix minor issues, preventing further damage or water leakage. The suitability of this kit for small repairs is worth noting. It is important to understand that it is not intended for extensive fiberglass repair but rather for minor chips and deep cracks. It is best suited for small-scale damage that doesn't require significant reinforcement or major structural repairs. For more extensive repairs or large-scale damage, it is recommended to consult a professional or consider a more comprehensive repair solution. In terms of performance, the Cocomfix Fiberglass Repair Kit provides satisfactory results for small repairs. The epoxy and filler adhere well to the fiberglass surface and create a strong bond. The application process is relatively straightforward, and the materials included in the kit are generally adequate for minor repair needs. However, it's worth noting that the effectiveness of the repair may vary depending on the user's skill level and the specific damage being addressed. Achieving a seamless finish and ensuring long-term durability may require some practice and careful application. It is advisable to follow the instructions provided with the kit and exercise patience during the repair process. In summary, the Cocomfix Fiberglass Repair Kit offers a convenient solution for addressing small chips and deep cracks in fiberglass surfaces. Its ultra-strong epoxy and filler provide a practical option for quick fixes on a small scale. While it may not be suitable for extensive fiberglass repair or major structural damage, it serves its purpose well for minor repairs. With proper application and skill, this kit can help restore the integrity of fiberglass surfaces effectively. I recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient solution for small-scale fiberglass repair needs. ... show more
