  • My Go-To Seed Starting Medium
Item Package Quantity: 6
These bricks of coco-coir are marketed as litter for reptile enclosures but I use them for seed starting medium for the garden vegetables I start under my LED lights. I put them in a big stock pot and pour hot water over them, gradually breaking them apart until the medium is thoroughly damp. No dirt under your fingernails or mold on potting soil. And it cuts down on those pesky fruit flies that seem to appear out of nowhere. Perfect for the home gardener who likes to organically grow their own vegetables from seed. ... show more

  • Better than dollar tree
Item Package Quantity: 6
This coir doesn't smell like something starting to rot, like the dollar tree product. Feels so much better too. All seedlings potted in this mix grew & are still thriving. Those in the dollar tree mix are dead. This is my 2nd purchase of this product. Can't wait for spring !!

  • Great for worm bins
Item Package Quantity: 3
It's certainly not difficult to use, just place it in a Tupperware bin and add water… Filtered would probably bee best. I use this as bedding for my compost worms and it's amazing. Not only are they able to eat the bedding but it's great for retaining moisture in the bin without having to add water directly. Consistent moisture makes happy worms. Didn't have any issues with excess sodium either which I've heard people voicing as an issue with this kind of product from other sellers. I ordered the nine brick package and they sent me a little bonus gift of garden gloves, a fork as well as a long and short hand spade. That made my day honestly. I used them to transplant some cucumber and squash. I'm happy. ... show more
