These things are great, I thought about making them myself but for the price it's pretty simple. As you can see in the photos I mounted these on and insulated door with the 21-inch kit. My panels measured about 20 and 3/4, they work just fine. They hold six rods, that is with a single rod in each spot. They do stick out from the door a bit which ended up making easier to get them in and out. The only inconvenience I ran into when installing them was not having screws to mount them on my insulated panels. If Cobra is reading this, please include some self-tappers or sheet metal screws, they'll probably cost you about $0.10 . I used eight self-tappers in total and they are nice and sturdy, pulled on them pretty good. Plastic is nice and sturdy, trust me I tested them before I mounted them. The open hole method is nice compared to others out there, it allows the poles to rotate as a door goes up and down. It also allows me to store 8-ft catfish poles and my small 5-ft poles. ... show more

…and so easy to install! I have been looking at this for a while. And I actually thought that they were kind of expensive. But having seen that they were made in USA, I bought them . And I should have bought them much sooner.

Rod holders work great, easy to put on garage doors, durable and reliable. Do yourself a favor and do not put rods with reels installed on the garage door. I had a reel catch another rod while opening the door. Thank god I have a good rod builder with a great warranty on speed dial...

If you have a hurricane rated garage door with bracing like mine, you need to reach out to the seller and get the spacers and longer bolts so it clears. Seller was super helpful and quick to get them sent out. Final product works great! It would be nice to have the option to buy the spacers through Amazon. Will be buying another set for sure though because my garage wall space is slim! ... show more
