Our house has a rectangular glass window right next to the front door, and anyone walking by could see straight in. We wanted privacy without sacrificing natural light, so we decided to try Coavas Window Privacy Film. This film is made with a frosted design that obscures the view from the outside while still allowing plenty of light to come through. It was surprisingly easy to install - we just needed a spray bottle, some soapy water, and a squeegee. The film itself is high quality and feels very durable. This goes on fairly easily, but you must very carefully squeegee all of the air bubbles out. We had some weird streaks and marks that we couldn’t get out and decided to let it dry, and turns out it was just moisture under it that had to dry out - the marks went away after like a day.

Allows a ton of natural light, but prevents neighbors from staring at us. Install wasn’t too bad. I measured and cut before putting up on windows. Can’t see any bubbles. Would recommend

This window cling arrived quickly. It comes in a roll. I used it on an interior French door because I needed to be able to hide the mess in my office!. It took me quite a long time to get them up because each piece of glass in the doors is a separate “pain” and I was trying to line up the pattern in ALL directions. (I spent about 8 hours on it). However I am happy with the results. They stay stuck on perfectly. I followed the directions, peeling the back, spraying with water, and using the squeegee to get the air out. None have fallen off and they have been up 5 months through the winter with forced air heat. The look is filtered opaqueness. The pattern is visible in daylight and very pretty at night with the light shining behind. If you are laying it in one long pane of glass it would take you ten minutes. I would use this again if the need arises and highly recommend. ... show more

I’ve had this on my window for a couple months. I love the privacy of it. You can only see shadows on the opposite side of the window.(and that’s only when you are up close) It allows more sun into my home than a blind which I love. Pretty easy to cut and place on your window. Only issue it does not stick too well. It doesn’t fall off the window it just lifts a little bit. If you want a bright room but privacy from outside…. This stuff was WAY easier to apply than I thought. I was really nervous based on my experience with shelf liner, but it's so simple to position (and reposition) because there's no actual sticky adhesive. All it takes is lots of water and a plastic putty knife. Went up so quick and easy! Do make sure your measurements are correct before you put this up, though - I wasn't able to trim the edges with a knife once it was in position (the glass in the windows has a rubber seal around it). Also - if you measure wrong and come up short (like I did on one window), it's almost impossible to patch. The 1" strip I stuck to the side barely adheres, and you can see a very visible seam from both inside and outside. (Note - in my pics, you can see the strip of masking tape I used to try to get the seam to lay flat. DON'T DO THIS. When I peeled it off the next morning, the whole edge of both sides of the seam came with it. More water and another pass with the putty knife got it to stick to the window again, but it's still not pretty.) I got the "silver silk" and thought it provided a good balance between allowing light in and camouflaging all the junk inside our garage. Might have preferred just a littler more blur (because things sit so close to the window), but still, I like the pattern/grain a lot. ... show more
