This is probably the best purchase I've ever made. Have already had to use 4 or 5 times and fast, safe and works everytime. After the 5th time, I realized I needed a new battery and got one, so hopefully I won't need again for a while, but will have ready when I do. Regular jumper cables hooked from vehicle to vehicle always made me nervous and took some time, especially if you pulled head first into a parking spot, then had to find someone who was willing to pull their car close to yours (if/when there was room). Not a problem with this device. Opened the hood, connected the cables to device, then to battery, cranked it up and entire experience took less than 3 or 4 minutes. I've actually become a pro! I had to use to crank car twice before I could recharge it because I forgot vehicle wouldn't crank and cut it off while in drive-thru at bank. No problem, got out car, used device to crank and back in car before teller sent my deposit ticket back. No having to flag someone down or have people behind me in line having to wait. Awesome!! Thinking about getting them as Christmas gifts and one for each of our 3 vehicles. Very easy to charge up after using. Just plug in your outlet at home and when fully charged, it cuts off charging so no worry about over-charging if charging overnight and it's ready for next day. ... show more

This portable jump starter comes in clutch every single time that I need it. Whether my battery is completely drained, or just needs the extra juice to get it to start my E36, this portable battery jumper pack always gets 'er done. I am very highly satisfied with the product. You just need to make sure to always charge it up once it falls to half charge, which shouldn't be an issue for anyone at all. I really recommend using the supplied USB-C and block charger that is supplied, and not any different chargers just to be safe. This jump starter even has a built in flashlight, as well as has the capability to be used as a charger for other various devices. What if you are stranded with a dead battery, and there is not another car in sight? Or there is another car, but no jumper cables! Wouldn't it be a life saver to have a 12v power pack designed to jump start an automobile. With its own jumper cables! That's exactly what the HPBS Jump Starter is, and more. This 12v jump starter power pack comes with jumper cables, a USB charging cable (but no power adapter), a cigarette lighter adapter (though many autos no longer come with a cigarette lighter) and a user's manual. All in a really nice, and sturdy, storage case that is only 9.5"L X 5.5" W X 4" H. The power pack also comes with two USB outputs for powering other devices. And also includes a built-in LED light with three functions (flashlight, SOS, strobe). The cigarette lighter cable enables "reverse charging" that provides charging of the car battery, in roughly 20 minutes, through the cigarette lighter port. The one disturbing issue for me revolves around temperature. In the Care and Maintanence section of the User's Manual there are two warnings: "DO NOT put the product under direct sunlight or hot areas." and, "DO NOT place the product in high temperature environment for long. The operating temperature: -22F - 140F." These are direct quotes, including the all caps emphasis. Well I live in Texas, and I am concerned about what I consider to be somewhat vague direction. In Texas, in the summer, even a garage is a hot area. And how long is too long. I do not want to risk my car, or my home when the car is in the garage. Do I need to bring the pack inside the house when I'm not driving the car. But what about when I drive somewhere with the pack in the car, but when I arrive at my destination (lets say a dinner party, or a movie, or maybe a football game) do I need to carry the power pack with me to be safe? And in something like a football game or fishing trip where I would be staying outside what is safe way to handle this power pack? Also, the power pack requires recharging every 3 to 6 months. ... show more

Compact size with neat carry case. Not big and bulky so easy to store in trunk. Have already used several times and works perfect. Will do multiple starts on one charge. Not familiar with battery life but hope it lasts awhile. Company reconditioning is nearly cost of new unit.

Our 2nd car battery dies often due to not using the car so we purchased this booster due to the good reviews. My husband and I tried to use it today and it would not work. We ensured the Jump and Carry was fully charged. The AAA tech tried to use it several times and he couldn't get it to work either. ???? ... show more

Was suspect of my battery when I began noticing low voltage. I bought this unit as a back-up to my jumper cables in case I was parked in a tight spot, if and when the battery decided to kick the bucket. Well it happened. Sandwiched between 2 cars at our corporate parking lot would have me waiting until quitting time for either driver to show up. Well with the Clore Jump-N-Carry I was able to quickly jump start my Jeep and head to the nearest Auto Zone to be a replacement. Talk about getting out of the "proverbial" spot. Please don't be fooled by promotional claims etc. This is the boss of bosses!!! For a decent price. I do roadside assistance and this has not let me down yet!!!! Thus far 19 foe 19 jumps and the override will start a completely dead battery.
