The basic features are very easy to configure using the buttons on back. However, the instructions provide additional information, such as how to switch between digital and analog clock, that are not intuitive. Comes with table stand and slot for wall mounting. Mom was calling a few times a week, confirming the date, even though she has an ipad and wall calendar. Bought this clock and it is fantastic. It even tells the day and nights, which helps on those dark winter mornings. No more early morning calls asking if it is 6pm or 6am!

I like the clock with its details. I got to have in my bedroom so I’d know what day it is when I don’t sleep well then oversleep. Only giving 4 because 1) to set alarm and turn it off not real easy. I don’t use that often but…. Buttons on back and getting through set up takes time I’d rather not spend doing it. Then to turn off you have to press one of those back buttons. Half asleep and finding it, not easy. Needs a button on front or top, maybe snooze button. 2) annoying thing is after midnight when time says #:## AM it still says night under the day of the week. After midnight is morning right? Can be confusing when half asleep. Maybe just me, but those things are irratating. Details I didn’t read in description. For price okay deal. Anyhow, I’m keeping it cause didn’t want to return. I’d had returned previous one received cause it had already been unpackaged and maybe used… ... show more

A very high quality desk clock but the cord is desperately short. It is recommended for dementia/memory care persons and this is a correct application. There are few shelf spaces in a care center room making the need for a wall clock almost imperative. I tried to figure a way, but the cord was too short. When viewed from the recliner or bed it needs to be on the wall. Maybe 2 cord lengths can be offered? Just thought. This brand also makes a larger, wall version as seen in a previous transitional care center. That version is not apparently available to the general public.
