We are planning to use this on the treehouse that is currently only a dream. In the meantime, it is serving as a way for our kids to get up on our trampoline. It will definitely work better when it's installed properly and for its originally intended purpose, but for now, it seems to be working just fine. The rope fibers are strong but not rough (i.e., they aren't going to leave rope slivers in your kids' hands and feet). The feel of the material is softer but VERY durable. This climbing cargo net comes in several sizes and is very brightly colored. It comes with lots of very sturdy hardware for adding it to whatever structure you want to use it for. So many of these climbing nets are very rough feeling and itchy. This one is super thick and soft with a silky feel that doesn't irritate our children's skin. The ropes are thick and seem to be very securely knotted. A pair of half gloves was included as well. We really like the look, size and feel of this well made climbing net. The smooth ropes are a real plus for us. We hope this will prove to be as durable as it looks, but are very happy with this! ... show more

I got this planning to hang it from two points along a branch of a tree. Turns out that for the knots to remain equally spaced, you need to stretch this net by all four corners. This Climbing net is made of very high quality material, and is made very well. I wrapped this around a tree in hopes it would work for the grand kids to climb. It doesn't work so good, though, so I'm either going to have to get some poles to strap them on, or get some plywood to lean them against something and attach the net to that.
