At the advertised price, I was skeptical about the brightness claims on the product (about the equivalent of a 60W bulb). I was planning on using them above an entryway door on an out building and for lighting stairs on our deck. They worked very well for lightning above the entry door. After a day of charging, they easily maintained a 10% brightness all night switching to 100% brightness for ~20 seconds when motion was detected. I tried others at 30% constant "ON" and they also lasted all night after a full day's charge. Even the 3 that are in full to moderate shade for all but ~2 hours lasted all night for about a week. After that they lasted a few hours into the night. This is no fault on the lights and I was surprised they charged as much as they did in this location. For the deck, they were too bright at the 30% always on setting. It is very likely this won't be the case for others, but mounted at ~36" high you could see the LED when seated and they were distractingly bright. Mounted much lower fixed that problem but then the area illuminated was too small. Note that the ones I'm reviewing were the "bright white" version. A "warm white" may have been much less of an issue. Overall, I'm really impressed with these lights. They work great as entryway lights or building lights if mounted above eye level. ... show more

    • Pretty bright and easy to use.

I got these to light up a section of the backyard where I exercise. With winter coming on it's getting dark earlier so this allows me to finish up instead of cutting things short. On the bright setting they provide a fair amount of light that at about 4' off the ground stretches effectively 8 feet. On the low setting they just let you know they are there. Relatively simple to use, the control button is on the front so you don't have to dismount it to change the setting. I have it set to always-on LOW unless motion is detected, then it shifts to HIGH. Ideally it would have an always-on HIGH to keep the brightness up when not activating the motion sensor but alas it does not. It came as a set of 6 and I'm only using 2 at this time, one at each end of a slack line. I'm contemplating putting up two more to make it easier to see the middle of the line as it gets darker. It hasn't been raining so I don't know how waterproof the units are. A good buy for the price and quantity. ... show more

Based on similar looking lights I’ve purchased in the past so I was annoyed with myself when they arrived and were much smaller than I anticipated. That is no one’s fault. I said all that, to say this: these are really bright, easy to set up and they work exactly as they are supposed to. I gave one to my father in law. He and his wife immediately wanted to get a couple more. I have these at my back door and around the back yard so I can always see ny dog at night. This also keeps me from walking into a surprise at night. These let me know that nothing/no one is hiding out there. I have examples! I have gone outside in the dark to let my dog out and I almost touched a raccoon sitting on top of my trash can with his little claws 8 inches from my face. I also don’t want to startle a skunk, ever again! They don’t like to be scared by man or dog. That smell doesn’t come off for days/weeks!!! No more surprises for me. ... show more

Much smaller than expected. Brightness could be better and the fact that the true motion setting only keeps the light on for 15 seconds is a bit disappointing. There should be an option for longer light on settings. I realize that this will consume more power but 15 seconds is way too short

Extremely easy to install. I had to use self-tapper wood screws for installing into 4X4 fence posts, but the adhesive they came with held them in place while I got the screws started manually and then finished with the drill. At first, I didn't get the setting correct to be always on-dim and then bright when motion was detected, but I did get that worked out the second night. I put these on every other fence post and am considering a second box to go ahead and install on every fence post. ... show more

These are a lot smaller than others but they are just as bright. They come with sticky tape. Lights stay on constant all night till the sun comes up. ✨️ They seem better made out of the box but only time will tell how they fair after some rain n time. Will update 😉👍
