Our 19 month old was not walking. He would hold onto couches and walls but never let go. Within 2 weeks of getting this, he started walking completely on his own. We tried several other walking devices but his was the only thing that worked. The first day trying it, he was just hanging as we walked around a little. The second day, he was moving his feet but not putting weight on them. The third day, he would stand whenever he was close enough to reach things. We did it for about 20 min a day for 2 weeks and there was a micro improvement in his walking each day. By the end of 2 weeks he was walking on his own. Purchased this for my daughter who has left sided weakness due to a stroke at 9 months old. She is now 19 months old and cruising along furniture, eager to walk. This is perfect to use a few times a day to help her learn balance, and build strength. She loves it!

It’s the best thing ever!! Omg i wish i had found this earlier. We’ve been walking with our daughter by hand and it’s all good but it hurts my back like crazy! Our baby is a late bloomer in walking, she’s 1 and can walk on her own but she falls and bumps into everything. Nonetheless, being a new mom this thing is a HUGE HUGE win! Idk why the blue and red owl has low or none reviews but it’s totally fine i promise! I will definitely buy another for my sister when her son starts to walk and will buy more for our future kids! The only things i would say is odd is that there’s no instructions as to how to put on and all but it’s pretty self explanatory. Nothing crazy just a Velcro strap and buckle. The adjustment straps are exactly like a back pack so just adjust them to your kids size and boom bam, easy! Hope this helps! :) ... show more

I bought this for my 18 month old who wasn’t walking. First day we put this on him, he hated it. Second day, he loved it but also loved chasing brother ( corgi dog). I guess you could consider this the “ first day”. He was leaning forward a lot in the harness. We had him in the harness for about 20 mins. Third day- he was standing more up right and he was standing on his own with little to no Pull from us. Again we did this for 20 mins. I would say about a Week later from when he started using the harness he took his first steps! We also saw micro improvements everyday from when we started using the harness. Since then he walks/crawls since he took his first steps. We do Practice with him without the harness and you can see his confidence grows a little everyday. He’s still a work in progress but my husband and I think our son wouldn’t have made the progress he has without the help of the harness. ... show more

I absolutely love this product and I can tell my 6 month old son feels more confident feeling like he is walking on his own. He is the type who wants to do everything himself, like feeding himself. If I try to help he starts crying. Since im not holding his hands or waist he feels like he is doing it himself and I can tell he seems proud of himself! I can also use it as a swing to swing him back and forth and my little dare devil loves it! The only thing is I wish their was more padding under the arms. Though it doesnt seem to bother him I noticed a little red under his aroma after the first use. I may just need to adjust the straps though! Overall the best product i have bought to hep him walk! OHHHHHH it can help him crawl too!!! My Lil man was bensing over to pick up a toy and was in vrawling position and I could help him stay up on hands and knees while he started to move forward to crawl. He is only 6 months so is just starting to crawl and def hasnt walked yet so its exciting to see how much help and support the baby walker is giving him. The price is awsome also. Love this my nephew has trouble letting go of side tables/couches etc. to walk and can’t find the confidence to walk without holding on to something and this seems to help him ensure himself that it’s okay and he doesn’t seem to mind it. I don’t know if I’ll need this for long, because it really helped my little one quick. After I used this just one or 2 times she started gaining the confidence to try to balance and stand on her own. She is starting to become a pro now. She is 8 months and already wanting to walk. She loves moving around and bouncing on her feet in this thing. You get a little arm workout but much better than killing your back. My LO just to go from the standing position down to crawl when I called her over. Now she’s walking along edges. This product provides a great assistant for kid when they are still developing their gait and balance. It is a great tool to guide the kid and avoid them from falling and hitting their heads. The only drawback is that when the kids have a couple of layers of clothes or jackets, this harness kind of shift upward with the clothes.
