It’s not as thick, but it does give comfort and good for a baby to crawl around. I placed foam mats underneath for more cushion in case the baby falls, but she discovered a way to flip the mat over. I love the feel of it. I recommend it.

While this pad is very cushy and comfortable, it is very loose and soft like a blanket or comforter. This makes it slide around a bit, despite the grippy dots on the underside. It also makes tummy time difficult. I’ve folded this pad in quarters and now use it for myself to sit on when in the playpen with my baby. Easy to clean in the wash.
