The media could not be loaded. I bought 3 of these to replace the cellular blinds that costed ridiculously more and had an average lifespan of 2.5 years, and couldn’t be happier with them. I’m planning to replace other windows as well. The blinds came well packaged and with good instructions. Quality seems good especially compared with another brand I bought and returned. Installation was easy. I took more time to look for side channels between them and on the sides to completely block out lights. I eventually found an outside corner trim made of PVC in local Home Depot that looks great and is very easy to install. The end result both looks and works great. Paired with the Citolen smart hub, I can easily link to Alexa and Google Home. To my surprise I found I could add the commands to Siri so it works with Apple as well. Another bonus is Tuya app automatically adds to Apple Watch and that became my favorite control especially when I want to be quiet. Some reviews complained the wireless range was short but I found I cloud place the smart hub in another room about 25 feet away and it worked well. Just a couple of minor improvements I can think of: 1. The remote occasionally (~10%) doesn’t work. The same with smart hub. It seems it’s an issue with the wireless module in the blinds. I worked around by repeating the steps in the Tuya app. 2. The fabric looks nice but there were frays on the edge. I used fray check to solve the problem but it would be nice to be done by the manufacturer. 3. The bottom rail is a bit too light and could be stuck to the side channels. Conveniently though it is hollow inside and could be opened from both sides. I bought some 3/16” x 36” steel rods also from Home Depot and slides them in. That solved the problem. 3.

The media could not be loaded. Overall, the blinds work really well with the remote. The quality is pretty good but out of the 11 blinds that I purchased one of them seem to be coming apart. The battery life lasts a really long time. I feel like I’ve had them for about a year now and I have not charged the batteries. They can connect to Google smart home via a hub that you have to purchase separately and what I’ve found with that is that they mostly work great but every once in a while, one blind will get stuck and it won’t open or close with the Google home app but later or the next day it seems to be working fine maybe a different blind won’t work. Overall, I really like them for the price. I got a quote from a local blind company and for six blinds they were charging me $5000 so to get 11 of these installed for about five or $600. It seems worth it to me. I hope they last a long time.

The media could not be loaded. Aesthetically nice blinds and relatively easy to install. Looks like they give you an extra few vertical inches as well at the bottom of the pre-sized 72" high models which you can unlock when setting the starting/stopping point if you have a window slightly longer than 72". Only improvements I'd like are: * a rechargeable battery pack (instead of the 6-AA pack inside the top) * access to the batteries from the front behind the valence so you don't need to unclip the blinds to replace batteries (similar to the Ikea design) * Better instructions on how to setup the hub for Alexa/Google home - as the manual for the hub wasn't completely accurate on how to connect to Alexa/Google inside the tuya app, but I eventually was able to setup the hub, connect each blind, name them, and create a routine to open/close all 3 at once. Otherwise, as this cost a tiny fraction of all other quotes I got for similar solutions (using the pre-sized blinds) I'm pretty happy with how these turned out. Ordering 3 more for a sliding door so everything can be centrally controllable via the hub. Edit w. 4 month update (dropping to 3 stars): I ordered 3 more blinds for my sliding door and that's when trouble began. With this order, 1 of the blinds was broken on delivery (clutch/motor edge wasn't connected) but the other one unevenly rolled up/down as the fabric started angling left/right when coming down vs. staying straight and wouldn't uniformly wind up and would press the edge of the blind fabric into the right/left edge of the end plug. This non-uniform roll-up both damaged the edge of the fabric when the blind was rolling up (leaving loose threads on the edge), and more importantly, the blind would get stuck and crease when rolling down (another review includes a video showing this). I returned these 2 for a replacement and 1 of the 2 replacements had the same problems while the other worked fine. After doing a bit of troubleshooting (was the bottom weight uneven? was my mount not level? was my battery too weak for the motor as it wouldn't spin the left & right edge uniformly? was the blind fabric not uniformly glued to the rod?) I fully unrolled the blind via the remote in admin mode and found some masking tape in various random positions on the roller tube that was both making the unwinding uneven, and was likely used at the factory as a hack to address this. How to fix: In short, by adding/removing and tweaking the thickness of the masking tape placed on the central aluminum roller tube - visible when the blind was fully unrolled (switch in remote next to battery set to admin mode and unwind until you see the metal rod) and repositioning it or thickening it towards one edge or the middle, I was able to fix the poor factory balancing job through some trial & error. My only unsolved remaining problem is that with the remote, tuya, and even a broadlink RF device, when signals were being sent to all 6 blinds at once to unroll/roll up, about 25% of the time, one of the 6 blinds wouldn't react. The blind that doesn't react is random (sometimes it was the 3rd, sometimes 2nd, sometimes 4th) and the problem comes if the commands are given in short sequence via a google home routine via broadlink, via tuya app, or even by just using a master remote to send a signal to all 6 at once. Not sure if this is just common with RF devices, or if I'm just unlucky with some harmonic problem & interference.
