…so unlikely to be caught by the significant wind we get and, since they’re under the eave and enclosed, they probably won’t be water inundated. They’re a good size, esthetically, for my large front door. They light up the stoop really well without shining a pointy light into anybody’s eyes. I really like that I don’t have to remember to turn them on and off. (I left the old ones on all the time. One of em blew upside down a couple times and totally filled with water. I left it to dry for some days and, amazingly, it still worked but I couldn’t trust them. Besides, they were rusted and unsightly after only a few years.) Whether these will weather well, only time will tell. (I’ll try to let you know if problems arise but it’s hard sometimes to update these reviews.) The electrician thought they’re well made lights and had no trouble installing them. They were carefully packaged for shipping and came with all the necessary bits. They’ve certainly got some heft to em and seem quite sturdy. The only thing I don’t like about em is they make my house look shabby and I feel like my puny doorbell needs an upgrade now 🤪 ... show more

I originally rated this outdoor light 3 stars in June 2021 because I felt the advertising was deceptive, whether intentional or not. I returned the product and moved on. The seller reached out to me later to let me know that they had read my critique and fixed their advertising about the light to properly reflect the actual lumen output of the product. This is only the second time I've had a seller reach out to me on Amazon about a review I wrote. The first time, I wouldn't budge because I honest felt the product was mediocre. HOWEVER, in this case, I was glowing in general about the product and still stand by the positives I wrote below. In light of CINOTON's impressive customer service, the fact they fixed the issue I brought up, and a generally solid product (see my original review below), I revise my rating up. I bought one of these for my very dark semi-enclosed porch/doorway. The light is packed well with simple to follow instructions. I got it up and running with minimal effort. It wasn't bright enough for my dark porch, but that's a personal preference and not a fault of the light. Pros: Appears to be a sturdy, well made product; photocell works like a charm; easy installation; I like that it comes with a small cap you can place over the photocell to disable the feature if needed; It does not take up huge wall space like many outdoor carriage-style lights; The look is modern but with a little flair (seeded glass); Love that it is sealed as well so hopefully no insects and spider webs to fill up the space inside the glass. The media could not be loaded. This is one of the best purchases I've made in n a long while. I absolutely LOVE this light. It was easy to put up... Took under 15 minutes, and it looks BEAUTIFUL. it's bright, but not glaring, and looks so much more expensive that it actually was. It's totally sealed, top and bottom to keep water out, and I LOVE that it senses the light and comes on in the evening and goes off in the morning by itself. No more porch light left on all day long, or worrying if we stay out longer than expected that we'll be coming home to a dark entry way. It's also going to be great if we go away for any time.. the light coming on and going off as usual will make it more difficult to tell that no one is home. My husband has already said he wants one for the back deck to replace the one we just installed. ... show more
