**UPDATE** I have now had these lights on my deck for several weeks and they have been working consistently (even through some very intense heat and heavy rains). The solar panel is set to “on” to charge all day and to automatically come on at dusk—they have done so with no issue. Also i have yet to need to use the backup USB power source. I also want to point out that prior to even installing, the company sent a follow up email with instructions for use and troubleshooting tips, so that was quite handy. I am now considering replacing my older plug-in lights with more of these solar ones so that i can free-up my patio outlets. (Original review) I love that these are cordless/ solar-powered , are on a timer, and turn on automatically each night. I have yet to need to charge them with the included USB cord. And I love that they come with spare bulbs. The remote is handy but it took me a while to get it to work—it must be pointed directly at the power source to work for me. ... show more

I put these up for my parents on their mobile home porch. They love to sit out their at night. Even though they omly get a few hours of sun in the mid morning. They turn on when the its dark and stay on until 2 am or so. The quality of the wire and bulbs are thick and sturdy and it's awesome it came with a remote and hooks. The media could not be loaded. I purchased several sets of the Solar String Lights for my pool area. They are great easy to use lights up the pool area nicely. Highly recommend. Great deal for the price. The Seller is very helpful. I'll be buying from them again.
