We used them for the christmas tree, railing lights and outside decorations that were plugged inside. All timed perfectly. I couldn't get it to work with Alexa, but that is ok, as I never intended to use for that purpose.

I purchased hoping the USB port could be scheduled for on/off. Only the 3 prong outlet is smart so I had to use a usb power plug, plugged into the 3 prong outlet.

I expected a smart plug with USB to be a unique product that could control power to the USB as I have a product that is powered by USB. Unfortunately this cannot so that, but they do not make it clear.

The media could not be loaded. These plug-ins are great for controlling any device with a voice command, app, or programming it on a timer and even random. All you have to do is download the Smart Life app, as soon as you turn it on the app automatically recognizes the plug-in and adding is automatic from there. You can change the name of each device to reflect what you are using the app to control. You can use that name to identify it through the app or for voice commands. You are also able to look at the history, which is kind of a cool feature, and from there you have other cool features such as random on and off, timers and schedules, and things like that. ... show more

It worked well with my Alexa household. It is relatively inexpensive for a smart plug, but still charging about 3 times what I think it's worth. It is also larger than it needs to be which can get in the way of other things if sharing space. I believe it could be a small square instead of housing a lot of empty space. I got this for our Christmas tree so I could easily control it with voice or remotely while not home. I had it on a schedule as well in case we forgot. I realized I could use the second one I got to put in my wife’s straightener outlet and if we ever leave and she says “oh I don’t remember if I turned off the straightener.” I can just get on my phone and turn off the plug.
