I have them up with push pins bc I wanted them flush against the window, don't know how to drill even curtain holes, and needed my daughter's room cooler IMMEDIATELY. It has been 105° +/- for weeks here. Her room gets most of the direct daylight. These are so effective and the color is cute. This pic is taken at 4:30pm on Aug 2nd, it's 105° outside and her room is 74° fanless, while ours are at 77° with fans going. I wish I got more panels while they were on sale(Prime Deals), but it'll be worth it to buy them full price. ... show more

They are grey, not white. Coarse fabric, very heavy, and very wrinkled. However they should be able to keep the WI winter cold out.

These drapes help a lot in these hot summer days in blocking the sun and keep the room cooler especially in the afternoon time when it gets really hot the most. The drapes are well made of a nice and good quality fabrics "corduroy" and this kind of fabric is known to be soft to the touch however, the drapes are thick and thermal insulated and that what makes them more effective in blocking the sun light. I like that these drapes have the rod pockets design and in my opinion it works much better than the regular grommet that I have in the rest of the drapes throughout the house because they work in reducing the gap between the top of the drapes and the wall, this will be something that I will always consider every time I want to buy drapes in the future. ... show more

Nicely made and are truly blackout drapes. They have a good weight to them and feel soft. Definitely look higher end, but at an amazing price.
