This is not a churro maker, don’t waste your time. ): It’s a lie that the churro is made in 5 minutes, not even 10 minutes worked. The outside kinda cooked but the inside was still raw. I tried a cooked part but it was gross, so bad recipe as well. Horrible experience.

Very easy to use, good flavor but the churro was a bit tough. I need to work on the recipe and perhaps spray the churro itself as well as the mold. All in all, fun. I am going to give this to my granddaughter who loves churros!

I bought this to make churros at home. The bag is clumsy and drippy and yucky to use. The directions say 3 - 5 minutes cooking time. What a laugh! It takes a minimum of 20 minutes to have anything but a dough wad. It does not cook evenly and when the top is edible the bottom is still dough. I have to turn them over to bake the bottoms and then they don’t fit right in the channels. Bottom line: you have to REALLY want a churro to use this thing! ... show more

Who does not love Churros! I wanted to make something different for the Holidays to take to other people's parties so I decided Churros. I tried them out a couple days before to make sure I knew what I was doing and because I wanted them to look good, but this machine makes it all so easy plus with the recipes and they look like they are made by someone who has been doing it for years. I bought this churro maker in hopes of imitating the wonderful churros that my family and I had indulged in at Disney World. This StarBlue Churro Maker did the trick. The same day that I ordered the maker, I received the recipe e-book from the maker. I see that other reviewers are saying that they did not receive their e-book. I think that the way that it is sent may cause it to be overlooked by some people. It comes after confirmation of order and the title of the email is in a form of a "Thank You". I almost missed it, myself. Maybe the title should say something about the e-book, so that it is not overlooked. The Churro maker is very easy to use and reminds you of a simple waffle maker. You just need to preheat, spray the iron plates with non-stick cooking spray, put your batter in, close the lid and in a few minutes you have yummy, fresh churros! Very easy....simple to do. I have made Churros in the oven yuck! Fried is great But not a healthy choice. So I saw this after one of my son's asked me to make some. I ordered it and as usual it arrived promptly with Amazon Prime! Set up was easy. Washed the inside as instructed with a warm cloth as it was the first time using this machine. I also sprayed and coated a light oil on the inside as instructed. The ebook of recipes that was include was clear and concise. I tried the Mexican recipe but doubled it as I did not know how many it would make. The instructions included said 4-5 minutes so I went 4.5 minutes! Unbelievable how good these are . Three kids, myself and my Dietitian wife... 40 Churros my wife ate one and said "these are good"! I had 4 and the rest split between the kids!!!! I am glad that I doubled the recipe! I highly recommend this Churro maker! Nothing like fresh churros to eat!!! ... show more
