Features

  • Deep Cycle Battery: CHINS LiFePO4 battery provides 2000+ cycles compared to 300~500 cycles in lead acid battery. The service life of LiFePO4 batteries is 8 to 10 times than the standard lead-acid batteries. The weight of the lithium iron phosphate battery is 30% lighter than the lead-acid battery of the same capacity. Brand: CHINS, Size: 20.47 x 10.59 x 8.66 inches, Color: Black, Orange.
  • Lithium Iron Technology: CHINS deep cycle lithium-ion battery has higher energy density, more stable performance and greater power. LiFepo4 battery will not burn when overcharged, overdischarged, overcurrent or short circuit, and can withstand high temperatures without decomposition. It can support fast charging and solar panel charging. This product is your ideal choice for both outdoor and indoor applications.
  • Built-In BMS & Convenience & Maintenance Free: CHINS LiFePO4 battery has built-in BMS (Battery Management System) to protect it from overcharge, over-discharge, over-current, and short circuit with excellent self-discharge rate. Built-in high temp cut off prevents charging over 122 F (50 C). Plus, Li-Ion batteries can be safer than Lead Acid batteries, which have no protection against ground faults. This product fits for outdoor camping power and indoor easy installation.
  • Bluetooth function: Compared with the traditional battery monitor, CHINS lithium battery has added Bluetooth function and can obtain various data (SOC) of the lithium iron phosphate battery. Customers can connect to the battery through the mobile phone APP, and read the battery voltage, current and other important information at any time. Wireless connection range: within 5-10 meters from the battery.
  • Capacity Expansion: CHINS 36V 100AH LiFePO4 Battery does not support series connection, otherwise the battery will definitely suffer irreversible damage. Connection in parallel: it can connect multiple batteries, suggest no more than 8pcs in parallel. Allow to be extended up to 8 in parallel to get more capacity (Max 800Ah).
  • Note: The peak current of the 36V 100Ah LiFePO4 battery is only 500A, therefore, the peak current of the golf cart controller cannot exceed 500A.

  • Great Replacement For Failing Batteries
Style: Bluetooth 36V 100AH
Purchased this battery for a 36v EZGO TXT 2008. After getting a quote for a Lithium conversion I decided to try it DIY. The reviews on this battery were sterling and the price point on flash sale could not be beaten. I had concerns about quality, but after 3 weeks my experience has been exceptional. There are some great helpful reviews, please note, these are not reviews for which the company has pandered. I have not received a single push to review. This review is exclusively because the experience has been so positive. I replaced my 6 batteries with this single battery. It was shipped promptly and received in excellent condition about 50% charged. I took my old batteries to AutoZone and was given a $60 core credit. It would be advisable to get a battery handle to assist with removal. I read in at least one review they were able to drop the battery in without adjustment. This WAS NOT my experience. The battery will fit into the rails, but there are two tabs that will have to be ground out. This is NOT all that difficult with a grinder, and once accomplished the battery slid into the rails. It fits snug and secure and leaves a lot of space in the compartment. I, at first, thought the rachet strap to hold the battery in place was a bit hokey, but settled on it because it was cheap and easy. I honestly don’t think it was necessary, but the extra security seemed a no brainer. I placed a piece of treated 2x10 on the other rail for a shelf, but it is also easy placement for a second battery. The warranty, as others have mentioned is a little sketchy. Hopefully it will not be needed. It is effectively a one year and 4 more of a hope and a prayer. I went with a three year warranty through Amazon to cover my bets. Time will tell on this one. It was still cheaper than Lead Acid replacement and my old, shot, batteries only made it 3.5 years anyway. My 3 week experience following installation has been fantastic. The BMS (battery management system) was a little hassle to get started, but I got great and nearly immediate response via email from the company. The Bluetooth worked immediately on one phone, but required more care with the main phone. It generally stays connected and has consistently worked up to 30 feet. It gives the percentage of charge and allows you to completely shut down discharge and charging through the app. Shutting off discharge during installation is a good idea to prevent arcing and should help when I store it for prolonged periods. There is a very noticeable increase in speed and acceleration. The cart is what it is, but in non-scientific observations, I am now able to get to 22mph when the previous tops was 18, and there is some zip to acceleration. This performance is maintained even when I took the battery down to 35%. The distance that I can travel was at LEAST tripled. I can comfortably get 30 to 40 miles. My experience so far is about 30% battery to get 12 miles on relatively level roads. The battery charges very quickly, 2 or 3 hours versus overnight with the LA batteries. There is no function to warm the battery in cold weather, but we are in Florida. This may be a concern during cold winters, but I don’t know how that actually works and wasn’t a concern for my application. Additional installation notes You will need a lithium charger. There are plenty on the market. I choose not to get the Chin charger and went with one from FORM (American company and I had previous perfect experience with them). I put the charger on board and I now only need to connect an extension cord. I replaced the charging port with a round, all weather from Amazon and bought a plate to cover the hole from etsy ($40 total and easy). There is a small red wire in the charging port that needs to be connected directly to the positive port on the battery if you remove the old port. You will also need a 36v to 12v converter for accessories if you have lights. My originals were wired from the middle battery with a green wire that ran to the fuse box. These boxes are about $20 and can then be connected directly to the power on the fuse box (again a green wire). I don’t understand the power usage of the little converter, and I didn’t want to run it back through the key switch, so as a precaution I put a switch on the hot wire to it so I could completely cut it off when I wanted to. I replaced the old fuse box with a ATM fuse box. It was a simple swap and for $10 it seemed to be an easy upgrade if I want to add more accessories later, but was completely unnecessary. Too many words for an easy conversion. I would highly recommend the battery and found it a fairly easy job for someone who has nearly no experience with golf cart power. ... show more

  • New Type Battery
Style: Bluetooth 36V 100AH
Received this battery packaged well with foam and sturdy box on Friday four days early. This would be replacing my 36V lead acid batteries in my 1999 EZO TXT CART. Downloaded app in house and went to garage to connect to battery. It would not connect removed app and went to garage next to battery and downloaded. Connected right off showing storage power was 55%. Removed 6 six volt batteries and this battery fit in from compartment great but was a little bIG for rear compartment. Cut 2x12 to fit both compartments. Installed battery in rear compartment to keep weight over rear axil for added traction. Wired everything up and took for a spin. Acceleration was GREAT and speed had increased. Took power down to 38% and put on my Summit II charger with battery profile 22276 to charge. Charger charged for 61 minutes and shut down with maximum voltage warning. Unplugged and let it sit overnight. Called Summit II people and told to use profile 22275 and got same results. Unplugged and plugged in again and charged for 61 minutes Did this 5 times and finally got to 100%. Have been contacting Chin and get reply within several hours asking for screen shots of battery and charger apps. They have been very good with help. Today power was at 99% and took for some test drives. Response still great. Got power down to 59% and put on charger hopefully charging more than 61 minutes. If not will contact Chin and Lester Summit again with my results. Battery has proven to be great if we can get charging right. Will update soon. ... show more

  • So far so good, updated 4-4-24
Style: Bluetooth 36V 100AH
I installed this battery in an old 36v ezego txt, non PDS. The installation is fairly straightforward. You have to grind out the old battery hold down brackets off the tray first. You can either buy a drop in battery tray or put something down in the tray. I used a piece of 3/4 plywood in both sides of the tray. The battery actually fits in one side of the tray perfectly. I put it in the front tray. I did like most do and just used a ratchet strap to hold it in. So, as mentioned in other reviews, it gets rid of about 300 pounds, nice. It seems to perform ok, but really slows down going up hills and we live in a really hilly area. If putting two in parallel would help I may consider that. I'll update as I get more experience with it, but for now I think it's well worth it considering no more lead acid problems and much less weight. Hopefully, it will live up to it's longevity billing. Update: So after taking the golf cart with us on a camping trip to a very hilly campground, I can say the battery performance was phenomenal. We were there 4 days and the cart was used a lot and mostly fully loaded. The battery had 76% when we started and I charged it for about an hour once when it got to 56%. I didn't get to finish the charge so it went back to about 70 ish percent. It finally got down to 46% by the time we went home. It is so nice to not have to worry about lead acid batteries any longer. Time will tell as to the longevity, but it is doing great so far. ... show more
