Loved this perch! Took 2 seconds to put it together and the birds took to it immediately. It's the perfect size for baby chicks. We still have it in our big coop but it's only big enough for one adult chicken at a time. The only complaint I have is the chicken poop is rediculously hard to clean off the wood. I used 4 bars to create nice spacing for my 2 week old chicks. The bars are on the smaller side and I think this will be short lived but it’s great while they’re small. The chicks started using it immediately after I put in in. Great product!

    • Pretty good little perch
Easy to put together. I used a power drill. A couple of the rods,I guess the pre-drilled hole was bigger than the screws so it was loose, but I just left them off.

    • Too small for chicks
This perch was good quality, but it's too small for chicks even as young as 10 days old. It's for smaller birds like maybe quail.

    • Exactly as advertised
Easy to put together, exactly as advertised. My Guinea keets spend pretty much all their time on this thing (outside of when they’re under the heat lamp or eating). They’re getting pretty big and it holds all 7 of them just fine strength-wise. They’re just starting to run out of room on it!

    • Good Product..But...
Be careful..This is my bad not the products fault..I had 19 baby chicks a week old. I put the perch in with them and came home a few hours later to find two of the baby's had gotten squished underneath it:-(...The weight of the others on top had pulled one end up and two got underneath...If you put this in with little ones make sure you secure it to the ground.. ... show more
