Large enough for my three full grown ISA browns with room to spare. Assembly instructions are very clear and easy to follow with pictures of every step and pieces, and the holes are pre drilled so there’s very little room for error. The wheels are awesome to move the whole thing around once they eat all the grass underneath and seem sturdy. Two things I will doing are painting and/or sealing the wood to make it more weather proof and replacing the 4 latches with heavy duty ones but I still think it’s definitely worth the money. ... show more

    • Inexpensive and easy to assemble
Firstly, I don't expect a much from a chicken coop at this price, but it came together nicely in less than an hour. It's cute and small, but large enough for 4 birds to sleep in. The downsides are that the roof isn't great (we'll be adding roof shingles) and also that there's gaps between the nesting box and roof. We fear a small predators could squeeze into the gaps, so we'll be adding some wood to cover the gaps. I'll probably paint it too. ... show more

Construction was easy enough to figure out with two people. The wheels aren't very good, I plan on replacing them. Cheap, flimsy pine wood. Would probably make 5* for the value of a kit coop if it came with better wheels.

    • Great for a starter coop
It is smaller than we expected, but since we are just starting to raise chickens we don't need anything big so it is the right size for us. It was so easy to put together. Once we get more chickens, we will definitely get another one of these.

Not sturdy. Cheap pressed fir wood. Will not last more than one year. Nice looking but not worth the money that was charged. I received damaged wood pieces and missing parts. Coop only large enough for baby chicks and possibly very young pullets. I feel I paid too much money for the size and quality of this product. Buyer beware. ... show more

I was super dubious about this. But for the price I figured how bad can it be? We received it much sooner than projected. And putting it together was the easiest thing. Everything lined up, it is super sturdy and cute as can be. Can’t wait for my little chickens to spend tonight in there!

It’s very hard to clean with the tray coming out the Same side as the entrance for the chicks? Needs to come out the back! Other than that it’s easy to put together and seems pretty sturdy for two chicks maybe three but it would be tight. I’m setting it up to a run and the only way I’m going to be able to clean it will be through the nesting box door which is going to be a pain but for the money and not having to involve the hubby it’s fine!! ... show more
