I got this as a temporary cage for our peachicks, and so I could connect it to the coop in the future and add more room for our chickens. It’s not the sturdiest thing in the world but for the price it’s satisfactory. The frame is super light, which makes moving it around and assembling really easy but obviously has its downsides. I decided to prop up the feet onto cinder blocks to add some weight because we get really strong wind storms in the spring and I was worried it could potentially blow away. This also raised the height a bit which is nice, although as a 5’4 woman I have no issue standing inside comfortably. I did have to bury some hardware cloth around the bottom to fill the gap but it’s good practice to do that anyways so predators can’t burrow in. Like I said assembly was pretty easy. I did the whole thing myself with minimal help over the course of a couple days (because it was too hot to work in the afternoons) it would likely go a lot faster with two or three people though, you could probably finish in a few hours. I used the zip ties sparingly at first because I was afraid of running out but there were plenty left over so I went back to tie up any gaps. One extra thing I did was take some of the foam padding in the box and use it to wrap around the door frame, so you won’t cut your hands on the chicken wire. My husband is 6’4 and can comfortably stand up in this. It took him very little time to assemble alone. The chicken wire it comes with is not strong enough to protect your chickens though, it absolutely would need reinforcement with hardware cloth. You cannot find a product like this anywhere in town for this price point. We are very happy with the purchase and the chickens are loving the extra room. ... show more

I needed something to keep my cats in my yard so this is perfect! Easy to assemble and sturdy. Only issue was the zip ties were small and crappie. Bought better zip ties and am very happy with my new cat house!

Please keep in mind, this is my experience, yours could be completely different. First let's talk about instruction book. It is used for all three types of this structure. Smallest ( assuming 9.8 by 6.5) to three section biggest 9.8 by 20 something. You need to locate your size and you start reading. Step 1 is the bottom of the frame, step 2 is the sticks that roof should be build upon. step 3 is the completed stage. wait what? how do you assemble the roof portion, it is combined with final picture. makes no sense. Moving on to second issue, which is more of a problem in my opinion. Pipes that should inter-connect to eachother were damaged, bend. meaning, one side did not fit into the other. I had to get my pliers out and do some creative work to fix the issue. On the other hand, when sections fit, it was easy to put together. Over all, it is really light weight, you can build in some spot and lift the completed project to other spot with ease. One thing, I did not test but makes me wonder what some reason if you fall towards this structure or run into, will it stand or bend quickly. because it is light weight and as I mentioned with plier, I was able to fix bend connection sections. Easy set up. Clear directions. Everything fit well. We need to figure out how to secure the wire around the door better. Seems sturdy. It was very easy to move. We plan on moving it around the yard so the bunnies can eat new grasses and fertilize at the same time. The lock works well.
