  • Great coop and great price
Color: Dome Room Pattern Name: 1-Unit Coop
It’s a great deal for the size! It’s sturdy and assembly is straight forward, but does require 2 people. The chicken wire is rolled up, so trying to attach it single handedly is really near impossible- ya really need another set of hands to help unroll it and hold it in place. I do recommend buying extra zip ties or even wire to fill in gaps. ... show more

  • Great cage for the price
Color: Flat Room Pattern Name: 1-Unit Coop
I got this as a temporary cage for our peachicks, and so I could connect it to the coop in the future and add more room for our chickens. It’s not the sturdiest thing in the world but for the price it’s satisfactory. The frame is super light, which makes moving it around and assembling really easy but obviously has its downsides. I decided to prop up the feet onto cinder blocks to add some weight because we get really strong wind storms in the spring and I was worried it could potentially blow away. This also raised the height a bit which is nice, although as a 5’4 woman I have no issue standing inside comfortably. I did have to bury some hardware cloth around the bottom to fill the gap but it’s good practice to do that anyways so predators can’t burrow in. Like I said assembly was pretty easy. I did the whole thing myself with minimal help over the course of a couple days (because it was too hot to work in the afternoons) it would likely go a lot faster with two or three people though, you could probably finish in a few hours. I used the zip ties sparingly at first because I was afraid of running out but there were plenty left over so I went back to tie up any gaps. One extra thing I did was take some of the foam padding in the box and use it to wrap around the door frame, so you won’t cut your hands on the chicken wire. Highly recommend this extra step! ... show more

  • Nice for the chickens
Color: Spire Room Pattern Name: 2-Unit Coop
Assembly of the frame was pretty easy. We started by following the instructions but it became clear quickly it was not for the coop we purchased. That being said, it was pretty easy to figure out what went where. Not sure what kind of residual was on the metal frame pieces (kinda greasy) but my hands were black from handling them - easy to wash of though - so make sure to wear gloves. I wish putting the wire on was as easy as the video made it look. That part was tedious and because of the hot temps were we live, it took several days to complete that task. Again, where gloves, long sleeves and long pants - I’ve got scratches up and down my arms and hands. The scratches are not bad but when you have to cut the wire around the door and then zip tie it to the frame I scratched my hands (my gloves made it awkward using the zip ties so I had to take them off. You get plenty of zip ties but they are not very strong so I used some heavy duty ones as well. The wire is pretty sturdy but not like the chicken wire you buy at Tractor Supply or similar stores. I added additional mesh wire with smaller holes along the bottom half for extra security. Where we live we can get high winds and heavy rains so we used a die grinder on the four bottom corner pieces and added T-posts for additional security to stay in one place. ... show more

  • Not well made and will not protect your chickens from predators, as it comes.
Uodate: Seller was super responsive and send replacement parts. Excellent customer service. However, welds continue to break with the slightest movement of the structure. Original post: The box was damaged in shipping (or shipped damaged, I'm not sure), but the parts seemed okay... until I started putting them together. Some of the places where poles should be inserted were smashed, so I had to open them up to get the poles in. One of the welds was broken on a base piece. I've reached out to the seller, hoping for a replacement part. And the directions weren't for the model I purchased, but it was fairly easy to figure out how it went together. It is not super sturdy, and you definitely need to put hardware cloth or stronger wire around the sides and ground next to the coop to keep out predators. (They will get right through the wire in this kit.) And, the zip ties are pretty flimsy. It's an okay starting point, but you definitely need to shore it up to protect whatever animals you keep in it. We'll see how it does in the wind... I'm hopeful I can get it to stay on the ground, but I'm going to work on anchoring it a little better than just the nails included in this kit. It isn't worth what I paid for it. ... show more

  • Fantastic chicken cage... Extremely happy
The media could not be loaded. I am so pleased with this chicken cage. It was so easy to snap the pipes together. The wire took a little longer but it's up. It came with an ample supply of zip ties. I didn't need to purchase any additional zip ties. My little chickens and guinea fowls will finally be safe from the dog next door, hawks and crows. We've had issues with them all before. The cage I ordered was the 20x10. It's a really good size for my çhickens and guinea fowls. I may end up ordering another one later when I run out of room. The seller shipped it really fast. It came in just a few days... Almost a week early.... Superman must have delivered it 😂. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. Thank you so much! ... show more

  • Poor quality
I so wish that I had spent my $500 on buying materials and built my own coop/barn. Instead, I purchased two of these. The frame is decent but the wire and fasteners don't last. The weather deteriorates them in months and then your chickens are all out. Predators are also biting right through the wire. The frame is overpriced if that is the only quality part that you get. ... show more
