I bought this for the purpose of storing my meat because my refrigerator freezer gets full really fast. Well, it defeats the purpose because it doesn’t get cold enough to store meat. This is perfect for an extra room without buying a huge chest freezer. Runs quietly. Compact size doesn’t take too much space I like the setting readout and adjustment on the front. I did put a thermometer in mine and it’s right on with the setting. I do think it could be priced about $25.00 less but when shipped with prime it accounts for the difference you might pay in Sams or Costco for a similar size. I’m very happy with it. Mine is in the garage where it does get hot in the summer. I saved the top styrofoam packing as extra insulation. I love everything about this freezer. I love the black color, the rectagular shape,the display of temperature and that this includes two small baskets. The media could not be loaded. It came in earlier than estimated. However there's a dent on the front next to the control panel and the hinges are cheat and brittle. It's the size I need in our small apartment and it hit -2 and had iced over completely within the first hour of it being plugged in and so far has kept everything frozen with no noise.
