Was a little nervous about this purchase since this model had so few reviews. Plugged it up last night and only took about one hour to get sufficiently cold so I was able to clear about my cluttered kitchen freezer. Perfect size, not too big or small and surprisingly light weight! Runs extremely quiet and perfect for my family of 4. I'm giving a tentative 4 star. This chest freezer is a nice small size that fits in unobtrusively. It's quiet. The temperature setting and the drain out are in the front so it's easy access. It seems to fit a lot of stuff but I still have to buy some more baskets. With chest freezers, it's all about organization so that people can easily access the bottom of the chest freezer. I let it sit for 24 hours in the spot it was supposed to be. It was very easy to access the power cord. It seemed to chill very very quickly so I was able to start moving things within a few hours of powering it on. ... show more

Overall works great, just hooked it up as we got a surplus of meat to store, but upon looking it over as no noise was coming from it to make sure it was on (which is awesome, glad its quiet) I noticed the damage on it pictured above. I dont think the damage is anywhere major, its just disappointing and looks extremely tacky. Not sure if it was from delievery or thats just how it was shipped as it is a large item to ship. ... show more
