It's a nice add-on for the inside of a fancy custom desktop case (like mine)... It's very well built, with heavy-duty electrical studs making the 90deg turn... There's 2 4-pin plugs and a 4-wire harness to plug in the LED light, one for 5V-ARGB, and the other for regular 12V-RGB... Unboxing, you have to screw the lens panel onto the board with 4 microscopic screws... They include a microscopic screwdriver to do this... It really is a nice unit... I believe the purpose of this plug is to help conceal the big ugly 23-wire harness that pops thru the back wall to get to the motherboard, and also to alleviate the 180deg wiring turn... BUT, unfortunately, it's not going to work in my Phanteks Enthoo Pro M Acrylic case, because it's just too tight of a fit from the motherboard to the rubber grommet... This adapter measures 41mm overall L-to-R, with a 24mm connector distance from the outer edge of the motherboard to the end of it's 90 plug, plus about 15mm for the PSU connector when plugged in... DID THAT COME OUT RIGHT??... I don't have 39mm available to make the turn, without placing undue stress on the motherboard... I could run the PSU harness thru one of the plastic plates, then back to this adapter, but I'm just not interested in performing that surgery right now... Maybe later, and I'll update if/when I do... In short, to use this adapter, you'll need at least 40mm from the edge of the motherboard to the point where the PSU harness passes thru the back wall... GOOD DAY ... show more

I finally got a GPU and was able to build a new gaming PC. After I finished, one thing that bugged me was the 24 pin ATX cable (see before pic). I bought two of these adapters to form a 180 degree adapter and this allowed me to completely hide the 24 pin cable (see after pic).

After reading reviews saying that their situation didn't fit, I was hoping that I was an exception; I'm not. This piece is nice, but it doesn't fit where I have it. It looks nice, and I was initially happy with the way it fits onto the end of the ATX plug, and it does press into the mainboard satisfactorily(without a click), it cannot be used once mounted in my case. It does feel well made, and I will hold onto it for future use, but it is not currently installed in my system. ... show more

This works great if you have low clearance or want to just keep your cables tidy in your case. I did notice is doesn't lock in which wasn't a big deal for most cases as they don't move much but could get knocked loose. Overall it works great and I have had no power issues 👍
