I bought this item for the color which was exactly what I needed, but the quality is poor. It is not charmeuse and it is not satin. It's fine if you're looking for a cheap china silk that is very thin with lots of body. Would work well for a lining.

It doesn't look like satin it looks A dog plastic wrapping paper. It feels like an emery board. Go elsewhere do some research and don't buy this.
