I needed a new grill as my old grill was way past its prime. While researching grills I was introduced to the infrared heating concepts and enough people were happy with the various IR grills on the market that I decided to refine my search for one that fit my price point and options. *This grill gets really hot in a very short amount of time. *It has plenty of cooking space for a 4-6 person meal. *It's easy to control the temperature zones with a little practice. *It's easy to clean and it was easy to season before the first use. *It never has a flare-up to scorch your food while you are away from the grill. *It appears to be very fuel-efficient as judged by the Propane gas gauge. A 20 lb tank seems to last significantly longer than my previous grill. *The side burner works like a champ and can be used as a regular burner or a small griddle top. The self-cleaning feature is fantastic, just remember to set a timer so that you don't forget to shut it down. :) *It's easy to polish so that it always looks great. If you are thinking about an IR type grill, this one sits at a great price point and works like a charm. Cons: All grills at this price point seem to sit on a cheap cabinet, I would love to see more robust doors. The glass window is good in concept but mostly irrelevant as it gets too opaque inside of the first few sessions to be very useful. ... show more

I love the even heat distribution resulting in no crazy burn marks and the tender meat.

    • Don’t buy to expensive and not easy cleanable
I just got my grill I put it together. It is flimsy, main divider wall in cabinet only has 3 bolts holding it in place, 2 in the back only one in front on bottom no bolt on top. It moves I will have to drill a hole in the metal and put a nut and bolt in it to hold it tight. Why no bolt in front top? If the cement is off a little the grill is sitting on the hole grill is wreaked out of shape the doors don’t open or close. Unless it sits perfectly level you will have problems. Maybe that bolt would help? Then I noticed that this 800 dollar grill has no slide out drip tray for easy clean up just a drip box. Next te grates have no finger holes nether dose the anti flare grides. Hard to take off to clean. I can’t beleave this grill for the money is this out of conveniences of cleaning. Oh almost forgot the doors with hangers on them are almost useless, if you hang your cooking tools from them you have to take off the shelf that clips on the bottom and the other side with shelves is useless cause if the shelves. I mean who designed this grill a child. This company been around for years think that would have it down . Now note with this grill. I don’t Recommend this grill. Buy another model or brand. I would love the company to explain this grill to me why all the mistakes in this grill. I called the company the girl I talked too had no explanation for my questions. ... show more
