The Chapin 60100 4-gallon backpack sprayer is great for large applications of pest control or yard management. The tank is big enough to hold 4 gallons of liquid and translucent enough to see the fluid levels inside the tank (Photo 1). Furthermore, it provides a 4-inch opening on top to make pouring into it easy and mess-free (Photo 2). Some assembly is required to put the backpack together. During assembly it gives you the option to place the pump handle on the left or right side of the tank (Photo 3). When in use, there are straps that go across the shoulders and stomach to provide a secure fit. However, when not in use, there is a metal curvature frame on the bottom of the unit to allow the backpack sprayer to stand on its own (Photo 4). The included 20-inch-long wand is great for reaching low to the ground without the need to bend over. It’s also lightweight, easy to maneuver, and can be stored away directly on the unit (Photo 5). The handle can be used either in free motion for spot treating, locked into place for large applications, or locked into off mode to prevent it from activating (Photo 6). Overall, works great and hopefully durability holds up. Cons – There’s no padding or cushion on the section that goes against your back which made it uncomfortable to wear (Photo 7). ... show more

I had gotten one of these from Harbor Freight a year or so ago. Of course, is a different brand but a similar product. This one is far superior. Overall it just seems better made. The other one just seemed a lot cheaper and things would leak and come off or loosen, but so far this one has seen a whole lot more sturdy. The pump works great and is nice it fits on your back well and as easy to use. The spray nozzles work perfectly with all kinds of herbicides and it's just a joy to use. This is a pretty popular brand that's been around for a while and I highly recommend this sprayer. ... show more

    • Nice And Simple Backpack Sprayer
This is a simple set up that works well. My husband uses it to spray for bugs around the home and have used it a few times now. The pump works well and the we haven't had to deal with the sprayer getting clogged or anything like that yet. It isn't the most comfortable sprayer to carry around but at the same time you aren't paying for a higher price tag item getting this. ... show more

The sprayer worked fine until the pressure pump failed.I'm unable to pump up the backpack with pressure malfunction. Spraying disabled.
