Gambled $150 and I am satisfied with this reel. It’s quickly becoming my favorite, caught an AJ yesterday and I am not sure which assisted the most the reel or the rod, probably both. But I have a good combo here. I’m not really an Amazon fan but this purchase is acceptable.

Update. After fishing with this reel I’m lucky to give it one star. I caught 4 fish. The gears would skip and the clicker mechanism fell off. Probably into the ocean. Can’t recommend this reel
