I painted 2 bathroom cabinets and a mirror frame with the larger size. It took 2-3 coats in some areas and I still see small areas that need more coverage. I usually use rethunk junk paint for my wood painting projects but the delivery time was too long. I wish I had waited because that paint does all the hard work. It’s self leveling and looks amazing. I had to really pay attention to my brush strokes and drip lines with this paint. It looks good just took longer and was more difficult to paint with. ... show more

This was my first time using chalk paint - I wanted a nice teal color for a chest I had that didn't really match my bedroom color scheme. Since the chest seemed to be made of mdf covered with who knows what, chalk paint seemed to be a good choice. I chose the color "Twilight" as it seemed a good match for my teal bedding. The only prep I did was tape off the edges of the drawers and wash down the chest with plain water. From start to finish, including washing, drying, emptying the drawers, dragging outside, painting two coats, adding two coats of wax, buffing, and moving it back into place it only took four hours! I am really pleased with how easy this paint is to use and with the outcome. ... show more

The color is beautiful but the paint is extremely difficult to work with. It looks good upon application, but dries into a streaky mess. I did around 5 coats and it still looks streaky and messy.
