I was influenced to buy this Fire TV stick because certain channels I subscribed to on Prime wouldn’t work with my previous streaming device. However, I’m glad I made the purchase. My previous device would almost constantly glitch and require resetting, so Fire TV has been a refreshing change. The setup was quick, easy, and instantaneous once I linked my Amazon account. The streaming quality is also top notch, the remote is very responsive, and after owning it for about 1.5 months, it’s still going strong with no problems. The installation process sucked! I had to repeat many of the troubleshooting tips because the remote didn't come paired, so I had to reset to factory settings and then wait a long while for the updates to set in. Device works fine but one of the 2 batteries that were included was almost dead and I wasted about 15 minutes trying to pair. I then decided to check the batteries and I found the bad battery. Lesson learned for any future device that includes batteries. Kinda disappointing but somewhat understandable as this was a refurb at a decent price. ... show more

    • Cables need work
The item works well however its power cord & hdmi connectors barely stay in. For the power cord, that’s a simple fix. However the hdmi cord tends to damage itself not sitting into the port properly. This causes me a huge head ache as well as making the tv’s port less functioning.
