The instructions are terrible! See the punctuation and wording exactly as its written below. Please read and follow all the instructions before using the net light of American flag, save this manual for future reference. This isn't a manual its a piece of paper that measures 5.5 inches by 8 inches. The front of it says Operation Instruction not instructions. Inside top they added the S. A manual has a lot more pages and talks about all features and has safety warnings most of us ignore. 1, Open the box, take out the net light No period and yes that's a comma after the #1. How could I get the instructions if I didn't open the box? 2, First plug-in electric test , Whether all bright mode can be adjusted Another comma after #2 a space then another comma and a space. 3, Find out with the ballast of mainline, after please turn the light on the ground. Another comma after #3 and we have our first period at the end of the sentence. What ballast are they talking about? The photo shows a white plug the one you get is black. I have other LED lights that have a sensor on the plug for using the remote. This one doesn't have that. 4, Please use hooks, hanging on the wall There's a bullet point circle in front of #4 a double if not triple space after the 4, and another comma after. Where's the hooks? Are they sold separately? You can't tell what type of hooks to use or how to mount them. 5, effect picture Again comma after #5 and this time they didn't capitalize the first letter or add a period at the end. What do they mean by effect picture? I can see if they're talking about the different effects with the remote. Note:LED meshwork or net light is composed of many LED bulbs , similar meshwork ,whose shapes have square, rotundity, triangle and octagon. No space between Note : LED. I do not understand why they felt it necessary to tell us the shapes the wires make. There's a double space between bulbs and comma a triple space between comma and similar. I'm not perfect with my grammar but I think a 7 year old uses grammar better than this. Now onto issues this. Look at the photos. The remote wasn't sealed in the little bag. When I opened it there was a little plastic tab in the battery area. This remote battery slot was opened. The remote doesn't work. There's nothing that talks about the remote or how to assemble the solar unit. There's NO mention of the solar unit at all anywhere. How long is it supposed to charge for? Can you turn it on it with the USB cord? What's the little knobby thing above the green mode button for? What's the plastic loop at the top for? There's no instructions for how to install the peg stick thingy. The screw only goes in one way. I bought the extended warrantee as well. At first I was glad I did. This is a replacement for the one I ordered a week ago with the same problem. Remote control doesn't work. I contacted Amazon after the first one. They assured me there was supposed to be some sort of brackets or hooks for outside mounting. Nothing to mount it outside was included. I went back and looked at the listing there's nothing in the listing about hanging outside. It does say the remote only works with the solar unit. But the remote doesn't work at all. I've messed with it several times outside inside solar unit inside outside plugged in not plugged in, nighttime day time the remote doesn't work and I can't get the green mode button to work either on either one of the units. The first one the remote was loose in the box again with an unsealed bag. The lights are tied together with clippings of extra wire. I measured both plug in cords. The listing says 16.4 feet. Nope!!! One measures 16 feet 1/2 inch the other measures 15 feet 2 inches. Its also at the top corner of the blue so when you hang it the cord goes down the width of the flag 3 1/2 feet. So if you want to mount it towards the top of your roof you will need to hide an extension cord. It also comes with drywall 2 anchors and 2 screws. The screws are too short for the anchors and are a weird shape that won't expand properly. I've measured both LED flags, USB cords, and plug cords. They're very inconsistant. USB cord, one measures 22 inches from tip to tip the other measures 24 inches. Flag one measures 3 1/2 feet by 7 1/2 feet the other measures 3 1/2 feet 6 1/2 feet. Clear cord to plug in with either solar or standard outlet as mentioned earlier 16 feet 1/2 inches and 15 feet 2 inches. Lastly if you buy the extended warrantee and return for refund you will have to contact the company. ... show more
