O.M.G. I love love love these plates. They're absolutely beautiful and a cooks dream! My husband will get pretty fancy sometimes with his displays of food and make into a wonderful presentation on the plate, only thing is, our plates weren't very fancy and they certainly weren't ceramic stoneware. He is so excited to do his fancy food presentation on these, and being white plates he can do wondrous things. If you know anything about fancy presentations when it comes to food then you know white plates are the go to because they show any type of display with sauces, etc, easily. Another thing, these are HEAVYYYY. And that's not necessarily a bad thing. If they were thin I'd be a bit concerned about sturdiness and them holding up as well as breaking easily or chipping easily. I don't currently have a dishwasher so I just suggest if you're like me, take extra caution while hand washing because the heaviness catches you off guard initially (at least for me it did). I really like the little message sticker it had on the one plate where it explains that the plates are a "hand finished product so each piece is unique, and color variations might occur." And the sticker came off super easy. It also states on a separate paper that customer satisfaction is the highest priority and explains the following: Our glaze is extra stronger than knives and forks. So, the grey marks may occur, which are not glaze scratched, but metal residue marks. To remove metallic stains, you can use the porcelain cleaner to remove the grey marks, such as ZUD, Bar Keeper Friend, Wright's cooper Cream, tooth paste etc. Really awesome that GBHOME includes this knowledge so you can really take good care of these elegant ceramic plates. One of my favorite things about this is the edge how it goes up a bit. This keeps any sauces/condiments on the plate instead of going off the edge that seems to happen all the time with flatter plates. Your sauce creeps up to the edge but now there's a barrier in the way, blocking its path. And besides that lovely little design it is dishwasher safe and microwave safe which we desperately needed, all our previous plates were technically not suitable for the microwave so now I'm happy to have some that will do just fine. Although we don't have a dishwasher currently, it's still nice to have dishes that are because we do plan on getting a place with one in the future. For reference I got the size 10.5 in ones which are the bigger size. These plates are beautiful, elegant, and sturdy sauce barriers and a cooks dream- for the price of $47.95 considering it is a set of 6 and hand finished- they are a wonderful deal and a beautiful addition to your kitchen. ... show more

These plates are well made, durable, fairly easy to clean, and work as small plates. it looks good with its hombre shading in various shades of blue. I like the color and the way they are easy to clean but simply popping them in the dishwasher.

I recently ordered the GBHOME Set of 6 Ceramic Small Dinner Plates in Blue, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. These plates are the absolute perfect size for my breakfast and lunch meals, and they have quickly become a staple in my kitchen. One of the things I love most about these plates is how they look. They are simple with clean lines, which makes them incredibly versatile and easy to pair with any type of decor. The blue color also adds a nice pop of color to my table setting without being too overpowering. Another great feature of these plates is the slight ridge on the edge, which helps prevent things like gravy or dressings from spilling over the sides. This may seem like a small detail, but it really makes a difference in keeping my table clean and free of spills. Although these plates are slightly heavier than something like Corelle Dinnerware, they aren't ridiculously so. These plates are very nice, with a glazed blue color and gold-tone accents. I love the raised rim, especially for kids who are prone to pushing things off the edge of the plate! These plates are a bit smaller than dinner plates but are perfect for snacks or a sandwich and chips. They are made of thick and hefty stoneware, which I think would be difficult to break and/or chip. I would love to get different pieces to match these plates.
