I would absolutely recommend this product. Likes: The price for how much you get is great. I can do 4 layers with 1 bottle on my ‘23 Accord. Application is incredibly simple with 2 towel method. Water slides right off and it’s great for a quick rinse clean for the Arizona dirt. Car feels incredibly smooth and near mirror finish. Dislikes: really only one and I’m not even 100% sure it’s the product that’s the issue. After 1500 miles (2 weeks) I washed the car with Chemical Guys Honeydew snow foam and CG Mr Pink in the bucket. After which there was a noticeable sheet of water during the rinse. Still protected but maybe 40-50% reduction in water beading. Variables: before application I wash and clayed the car but didn’t polish. I also let it cure overnight in a garage. I purchased this because my car has minor scratches and I wanted the protection of a ceramic coating with the high expense of paint correction. And while I think this product works, I’m not sure it makes sense with the growing amount of “ceramic sprays” both for rinsing or application post wash. I have used a similar product for years, but the huge cost and lengthy time of application, plus the product not lasting as long as the manufacturer claims, compelled me to do my research which resulted in choosing Cerakote for my vehicles. The price is outstanding, and the application (as they state) is very fast and easy, and the result is a high gloss, highly water beading surface. So far I'm very happy. I went ahead and gave five stars, although I confess there's one more metric to be met by this product, which is longevity. I'll update my critique if Cerakote does not live up to this standard, but so far it has met or exceeded my expectations and I recommend giving Cerakote a try. ... show more

I have used their Trim coat product on my Avalanche last year and worked out really well, so I decided to try their Paint Protectant on my other two trucks and the shine is better than with any wax product that I have applied to them in the past. It will be interesting to see what its longevity is over time, but it's very easy to apply and buff. The directions say to spray it directly on the paint, but I didn't really like that, so I applied it to a micro towel instead and that worked out great. I used it on the paint, the chrome bumpers and the glass with exception of the windshield that I apply Rain-X to. There are no cloudy areas after whipping with microfiber towels, so it is a very nice product. Good Stuff. ... show more

Just purchased 2024 Tacoma Sport and even though had dealer do ceramic coat, just was not smooth as should be. Purchased this product and huge improvement. Did the cloth toss over the hood and dealer coat it just stuck. After the Cerakote smooth as Glas and cloth slid right off hood. Maintenance is easy just buff and shine. Great product and easy to apply your self at a fraction of cost. ... show more

I washed my vehicle then went home and applied two coats, one day apart. My vehicle did look nice after one coat but after watching the user video, they recommend at least two. After applying two coats, my vehicle looks dramatically shiner and cleaner. I’m hoping it lasts a decent amount of time before I have to apply more. Though the smell of the wax is quite odd. Update, July 10, 2024 So I did a maintenance wash on my Avalon...WOW just wow! Water rolled off and beaded, making it easy to use air to dry the entire car. As I was washing it, while it has the foam on it, I used a clay mitt and iron remover. Very little iron was on the surface at all. The only areas where iron deposits were present are the wheels. Which makes sense, because of the brakes. Cerakote is doing a great job of deflecting contaminants and preventing them from sticking to the surface, completely awesome! My maintenance wash including drying and adding a second coat of Cerakote took only 2.5 hours. Talk about efficient use of time. I could've cleaned the interior, which would've probably added 45 mins to an hour, but the interior was still visually clean. In other words, I don't think I will even delve into true ceramic coating...for now. Cerakote is doing all the things I want for my car. I used a China brand on my BMW...talk about not even holding a candle up to Cerakote. #teamcerakote. Detailing my cars is a favorite past time of mine. I like taking my time, sometimes too much time lol. Keeping the paint finish clean and shiny is a top priority of mine, and I am sure to many others as well. I have always used the spray on type paint sealants and have tried a few different versions. From Nu-Finish, to Mothers, to Turtle Wax, Torque Detail, etc. This CERAKOTE kit by far is the best I have used. Very easy to apply and buff. I was impressed immediately when I first applied it. Then as it cured, the glassier it got and really made the surface shine. My Avalon required slightly more than half a bottle to completely finish. A small amount goes a long way. One coat seems to be fine, but the instructions say you can put layers on top of a cured coat. Maybe after I wash the vehicle, I will put another coat on. But one coat seem to do just fine. The product is extremely easy to use. The spray is much finer than other similar products I have used, giving better coverage and less waste. I was able to do my entire car in under an hour and it looks great!
