Unique design takes up less space than original BOB®. Able to fit on the adjustable Wavemaster™ base. “Skin” is constructed of high-strength plastisol. Inner cavity is filled with high-density urethane foam. Base can be filled with water or sand and weighs approx. 270 lbs. 7 height adjustments from 60” to 78”. Base included.     • Heavier than you would think with water.
I'm very heavy handed. And can knock it over, but it took a decent amount of effort. I feel like the movement of the water kept it up. I would imagine sand would knock over easier since it doesn't slosh back. The weight would just keep pushing it down. It will Tip back and forth though.

    • Screws wouldn't line up evenly
A little overpriced and regardless of a full (water or sand) base, it still move around a lot. My biggest complaint is it was impossible to push/pull the top over the base pole (even with soapy water to make it slippery) and line it up evenly with the screw holes. No way it was going in evenly, had to screw in at a slight angle. Aggravating. Hopefully it holds. Otherwise, solid piece of equipment for a good and diverse workout. ... show more

BEST TRAINING BUDDY, BOB! Not only is it built like a tank but it feels like the real thing. I love it, all my sons love it, and my dog HATES it! When I’m beating the snot out of it my dog thinks it’s a real man and ALL her hair is standing straight up and ALL her teeth are on display! Hahaha...Daddy’s girl! But seriously, I’m so impressed with the customer service end of my purchase that I’m VERY confident I will be buying from them again! They’ve held up their end of the deal buy getting me the most rugged, dependable, and tough SOB (or BoB) that these knees, elbows, head, and fists of fury can throw at it! So don’t drag your feet anymore (like I did) it might seem pricey compared to a punching bag but it’s worth every penny! The realism and easy adjustability for different heights is SO NICE!     • Dont use water fill with sand.
I filled this up with water when I first got it out of pure excitement. And I was really disappointed, because I have never practiced or trained before and I could move this thing all over the place with a few punches. So I went and bought 5 bags of 50 pound play sand and a car oil funnel and that all changed. Even with just 250 pounds in right now bob only lifts up on more powerful strikes. I looked on the inside and I could probably fit another 100 to 150 pounds of sand in and he wont be going any where... I will say that if you don't know what the hell your doing when it comes to fighting and how to throw a proper punch (like me previously) do some research before you just start wailing on bob. I hurt my wrist for 2 days because I was punching wrong, and I think pain is still part of the learning process. Only owning this thing for about a week now I learn to love it more and more every time I use it. I noticed that I feel calm and relived after only a 10 minute session (also tired as s***) Not to mention I feel tougher knowing how to throw a correct punch. great work out. I sleep a little better at night. I also had this pain in my shoulder area and for what ever reason the pain has been subsiding daily I think it has something to do with releasing built up stagnate energy in my arms after bob kicks my ass as I like to say. I have even had dreams about being able to punch and fight better since I got bob. ... show more

    • Taunting little jerk
So yeah, I adopted this guy from Amazon because he looked like he had seen better days. He moved in and within a week my entire household realized that just because he's a quadapalegic, doesn't mean he has a speck of humility or common sense. A downright nasty tempered roommate. He's had a dire effect on the household. My soy latte drinking polymorphous pan-sexual peace loving vegan roommates have become die hard warriors as they continually pound the living dog snot out of this guy. I'll give him credit, he can take those slaps, punches, eye-gouges and death blows like a champ. Given his ever saltier vocabulary, it doesn't seem to be causing any more damage to his pea sized brain. In short, crappy roommate but a great workout slapping his smarmy mug around.     • Worth every penny
I’ve had BOBs before and they never disappoint. It’s a very durable product if you take care of it by not using weapons or shoes on it. I got this one for my home, and normally I fill with sand, but water filled it held up great. I was a bit worried it would get kicked over too much, but as most people are aware, of you aren’t doing side and turning back kicks to torso, you just need it backed against a wall so it won’t topple. Resale values don’t go down apparently, since fb marketplace sellers were asking almost as much used, so it’s worth spending the extra $50 to buy a new one. I’m probably buying another one soon, since I much prefer these to a standard heavy bag. Assembly isn’t too bad, but I could see a smaller weaker person struggling with this, since it takes a bit of effort to push bob onto base. ... show more

    • Great Way to Get Some Exercise
I'm not someone who is very much into fitness and working out. I don't like going to gyms, running, swimming, or very many other work-intensive forms of exercise. For me, BOB is great because I enjoy the time I spend working out when I use him. This product is both fun and productive. If you are interested in buying your own BOB, there are a couple downsides that you should know about. These complaints are from my personal experience with BOB. #1- Filling up BOB's base. You are supposed to do this with either water or sand. From what I've read, filling up the base with water can lead to some problems, so I decided to fill up my BOB's base with sand. I got 200 lbs worth of sand, and filled it up. It took a few hours to do this. The opening in the base where the sand goes is too small, which is why it took so long. Fortunately it was something I only have to do once, so long as I don't plan on moving BOB to a different location. #2- When you receive BOB, you attach him to the base with screws & washers. Every once and a while when I use BOB, a screw & washer will come loose and I have to screw it back in. Those are my only real gripes with this product, and they aren't major problems, only minor inconveniences. I would definitely recommend BOB, great product! ... show more
