  • Great scope!
I was hesitate at first to get this scope from Amazon. Not to mention it is from a 3rd party seller. However it was great. This scope is from fucus camera LLC. It arrived in original Celestron cardboard box with very good protection foam inside. The scope is in perfect condition. It does need a little bit adjustment on the collimation. But that is very easy to do. The lens and mirrors are free of dust and particles. Moon is very sharp even pushing towards 300x and above. However it takes extremely long time to cool down, sometimes in the evening when temp drop too fast it will never cool down. The heat plumes is annoying. Probably need to insulate the scope. Overall I think focus camera LLC is a good seller here. The deal is good. I wonder why they sell their scope at a discount. ... show more

  • Your eye to the solar system
I love this scope for planetary imaging. Just find a quality 2x barlow and an astro camera such as the ASI224mc and you're ready to rock pictures of the planets such as this one which I took last night. Don't forget a decent german equatorial mount!
