The skateboards: I purchased the yellow kids/mini complete skateboard from the seller Daddies Boards Shop here on Amazon. The skateboard came with both stickers and a skateboard tool as depicted. The board rides smooth and all the components feel of quality. There is no stiffness or extra effort required to get moving on the board. It’s a great beginner complete and none of the parts feel sus. The colors is vibrant and the paint has no flaws other than coming off easily. Order arrived in two days from order confirmation with prime. I also purchased the 8.0” mint skateboard from CCS.com with clear grip tape. The components are equally as good and make learning to skateboard easy and fun. This skateboard does have a pointed nose and flexes a lot more than the mini. It also has an imperfection on the paint job on the board the size of a dime. The paint isn’t any tougher and comes off very easily. The scratches you see in the photos are from a combined time of two hours on the board and all I know how to do is push myself around so I’m not doing anything cool or fancy yet. I reached out to CCS via their customer care email, phone, as well as facebook multiple times about these concerns and still have yet to hear back from them. Order took 8 days to arrive from the order confirmation date with free shipping. Came with one sticker and no skateboard tool. Shipping Comparison: Both Skateboards were packaged the exact same way and ship from the exact same location containing similar invoices with different logos and color of paper. When you buy it on Amazon you get it significantly faster. Cost Comparison after taxes: Purchased via Amazon: $90.51 this price included two stickers and a skateboard tool. There is no way to select a different color of grip tape or change the wheel color. Purchased via CCS: $89.45 this price included a choice of a few free colors of grip tape and wheels and a sticker. Other customizations cost extra. Customer Service: CCS.com: unresponsive Daddies Boards Shop (Probably also ccs.com) via Amazon: Have not had to contact them regarding the purchase I made through Amazon. Summary: I am very happy with the color combination of both skateboards, but if I had to do it again I would buy both through Amazon. I know that should an issue or questions arise Amazon does a great job of making sure the sellers provide answers and resolutions and step in when they don’t. The board has amazing quality, and the wheels are amazing. Like the other reviewers said, the bearings aren't anything special. But they aren't terrible either. The trucks are fully metal and strong for grinds and faking hard falls. Overall amazing deal for under $80.

This was recommended to me by an expert skateboarder to get for a 6 year old's first skateboard. This child is now taking lessons and succeeding with this board. The wheels are good - not as hard as skate park wheels and not as soft and gummy as cruiser wheels so its sort of right in the middle for a good all-purpose beginner board. My son purchased this skateboard with his birthday money and was super excited. When he received it there were about 4 air bubbles (1 was large...maybe about 3 inches in diameter) under the grip tape. I came on Amazon and read reviews and I see some others have had the same issue. My son didn't want to return it because that would be a bummer to not have his board, so we did what others did. We poked a couple of holes and slit the bubble and it laid down again. I am worried that doing that is going to now cause other issues, but it worked for now. I’ve been buying ccs blanks out of thier catalog since I was 15 (43 now), they’re great. This was a present for my 10yr old, his first board, he loves it. If you’re not in the know, CCS has been around forever. They are real boards, not those badly pressed heavy things you find in a toy dept. I got this for my 3YO Daughter because I took her to the skatepark and she was hooked. But she only had a scooter at the time. So I jumped on Amazon and took a look for a mini deck for her to skate and found this. It's perfect for her. It's not as big and much easier for her to learn with. I'm going to get my 8YO Son one as well because it'll be easier for him to learn how to skate with a mini as well. Big adult size boards are too big and heavy for him to skate just yet.     • Where to begin?

This is probably the best complete that is out there. In the past I've purchased other completes that I've had to upgrade. And what did I upgrade them with? CCS components. To be 100% honest, the trucks aren't as good as Indys, but what is? These trucks are WAY better than others out there. When you lean, they actually turn. The wheels are REALLY good. And the bearings are good enough. I kick once, and roll for a long time. I'm 45, and about 240lbs and this board holds me just fine. The deck doesn't flex like others. I'm just getting back into to skating, and have purchased a few cheap completes. This CCS complete blows them all out of the water. I couldn't be more happy. It sounds great, pops great and rides great. I haven't even adjusted the setup what so ever. Out of the box, it's good to go. Came with 2 stickers, (1 of which my son stole) and a skate tool.
