Today, I received my 10' x 12' tarp for $53.88 + $9.99 shipping. Very affordable, and it arrived very quickly (a couple of days). Some have questioned the weight of the canvas, and I can assure you it's heavier than 10 ounce, and closer to 13 oz. (do the math: 10'x12' = 13.33 sq yd and its product weight of 11 pounds, or 176 oz, yields a weight of just over 13 oz. if you discount any added weight from the waterproofing). The material is tough, it appears heavily treated with waterproofing compounds, and the hems are sturdy as well. Contrary to two answers given for this product, it DOES have a seam running down the center, but it is double-stitched as advertised. However...the center seam is NOT a flat-felled seam (which is also double-stitched), so the edge of the material is exposed and subject to fraying (-1 star). Also, the product arrived wet...so wet, in fact, that ALL the brass grommets have begun to corrode and have stained the canvas with little green rings (-1 star). It wouldn't take but a little extra effort to make this a 5-star product (dry, and with better seams), but for now, it gets three. ... show more

Very nice well made heavy canvas tarp. My one complaint is that it was much smaller than stated. I can understand rough sizing and subtracting for seams(which seems dumb, it is or it isn’t 10x12) but this tarp was significantly smaller thus barely fitting my application. Keep this in mind when you order that 10x12 is actually 9x11 ... show more

As noted by another reviewer, although advertised as 16 oz., and while a sticker on the plastic bag it comes in says 16 oz., the printed package insert says 10 oz. The 10x12 foot size is the cut size, i.e., the size before hemming. The package states that approximate finished size is 9'6'' ; by 11'6''; which is a reasonable size with the hems. The tarp I received, however, is only 9 x 10 1/2 foot. The hems are not sufficient to account for this, so the cut size was probably less than the advertised 10x12 feet. Other than the foregoing, the canvas seems good and well-made, and according to the package insert it was made in the USA, not China or some other communist country. ... show more

Made a decent canopy/roof for my car. High quality fabric, smelled fine (lol). Unfortunately the rings were not very strong and a strong burst of wind ripped them out.

    • Advertised size not accurate!

The quality of the tarp itself is fantastic. Very sturdy material & well stitched. The advertised size however is nowhere close to accurate. They very boldly claim it is a 10' x 12' tarp. We were intending to use this as an awning for our pergola which was build to be 10' x 12'. When we went to put the tarp up, it was nowhere close to big enough. We measured it & the actual dimensions are 9'4" x 11'4". We were skimped by 16"!!! After some very careful reading we found the tiny print that the 10' x 12' is it's "cut" dimensions, not its final dimensions. Approx. finished size is 9'6" x 11'6". Still off by 4". If you don't care about exact measurements it's a great product, but not cool to advertise something as one size & then later in itty bitty print say: no wait, it's actually closer to this size... but not really. Advertise boldly the actual finished dimensions so people know what they're buying. Had to return the tarp because it was nowhere close to the size we needed. ... show more

Ordered this to replace a canopy cover which is approx $180, due to the size of the canopy. This is defenitly more cost effective and does the trick. I attached it with straps, and so far, so good. And the price is right!
