This game is more complex, but really fun once you know how all of the rules! It's only a four person game, so kind of a bummer if there's more people since the game takes awhile to play. This game can take a couple of hours to play, so grab some snacks and settle in! The first part of the games takes awhile to set up and is quite boring. Received the Catan game and was excited to learn. Once you start playing it's easy to learn and is a ton of fun. Unfortunately when we set up the game we had one missing piece (an orange city). I don't want to return the game because well we can make it work and it's a huge hassle. I tried to go to product support that lead me down the path to the catan website that states if there are missing parts to contact the seller because all Catan games are not made by one specific company. Well I have no clue who actually made the game that Amazon sold me and the only option I have is to return the game for a replacement....I just need an orange city lol. Super bummed the part was missing but with that being said if you are looking for a fun family game don't hesitate to buy this. It states ages 10+ but I would suggest this more for 14+ because you do have to really pay attention and there is a lot of thought tactic to win as well. ... show more
