I love that my cats can use the litter in peace and it contains any orders for awhile (until it’s bad enough it needs changing or scooping). It’s great as an end table too.

I had purchased this cat litter box house in hopes of sprucing up my half bath since it’s not always the most pleasant for guests to walk in to a bathroom with a visible litter box. It was easy to assemble (did it by myself in like half an hour) and seemed pretty sturdy though it would wobble if pushed with some force despite ensuring everything was tightened. While it definitely made the bathroom look more pleasant, it unfortunately has some flaws. The house itself was quite large so it needed a large litter box otherwise there’d be a lot of extra space in the front or back of the house. Fortunately, we had a large enough litter box to fit in there but despite this, our cats (who are litter box trained & had no issues with peeing outside of the box prior) managed to regularly relieve themselves in the less than an inch crack between the litter box and house opening. This caused the paint/wood to warp on the inside and we would sometimes find urine on the floor where it had trickled through the crack below the door. I had really high hopes for it but unfortunately it just doesn’t work for our cats. Possibly could work for a cat that maybe is smaller but didn’t work for our chonkers. ... show more

    • Good litter box a little pricey but needs something for door

Great litter box but it was fairly expensive. If you have put together ikea furniture it uses the same type of fixtures. Wood is the mdf style as ikea as well. Due to the internal size you have to check to make sure any litter box you do get will fit. The air holes on the back are a nice touch but I would recommend covering with a screen mesh as litter and or other “items” can spray through as I’ve found out the hard way. Biggest disappointment is that there is no sort of flapper or screen for the front entrance. Due to the size a lot of litter does end up coming out the front. I got a mat for the floor but a flapper or some sort of hanging screen for the cat to push through will be my next modification to make my life easier. ... show more

It is not difficult to assemble. And it even brought some spare parts in case you lose one in the process. But the final product is very flimsy. Don't expect to use it as a stand, let alone a place to sit. Very thin and lightweight; just about the strength of two carboard pieces put together, for a better analogy. ... show more

This cat litter nightstand is super cute. I was worried my cat, whose caboose is a little thick, would have trouble getting in and out, but her chunk slides in and out easily. Additionally, I think she really likes the added privacy. We originally had a large covered cat box for her (we had to buy a new smaller pan to fit in this), but I think she prefers this. We keep one of her lightweight cat trees on top, and I think she appreciates being able to sleep & play where she poops! It was pretty easy to put together-- for reference, I am a 23 year old female who's not very strong, and I put this together by myself in under 30 minutes. Just be mindful you might have to force some parts together, such as the locking screws, because it's factory made. ... show more

A great product for improving the look of the space your furry friends litter box occupies. Installation was simple, the directions were clear and all parts were numbered. The box itself is particle board made to look nice. It's held together by wood pegs with metal studs which are secured by 1/2 turn twist lock nuts. I was able to assemble it myself. Having a hand to hold the pieces in place could be helpful, but not necessary. A tip would be to use gravity to install the base once both of the the side panels are up. Then, flip the whole unit upright to install the door. The directions have you work against this concept. Note: You may have to purchase a box that fits inside since the one I had was too large. I purchased a sifting box from the local PetsMart and it fits perfectly. ... show more

    • Find a correctly sized litter pan before buying
This was easy to put together and actually looks very elegant! It’s a sturdy product and I love the door to get inside easily. The reason why I took off a star is because it was extremely hard to find a litter pan that fit the inside of this product well. After a whole day of searching, I settled on a 14x17” litter pan. I wish I could have found a litter pan that was 18x18” like the inside of this product. I suggest trying to find a litter pan before you buy - keep in mind the lowest past of the cat head entrance in 6” high. ... show more
