I purchased the Fieldpiece SC640. It comes in a soft zipper case but it is a little difficult to remove with the leads connected. This case is a perfect fit an now I can just open the case an start using my meter right away. It also has a nice deep pocket for my K type thermocouple. Great price perfect fit! ... show more

This case checks all of the boxes for good flat/curling iron protection except for heat resistant material. It seems to be a good generic size. My Chi fits in it quite nicely with the cord wrapped up and my heat-proof stand on it. I can imagine would accommodate an iron slightly larger or longer. I put out a question before I purchased this, asking if the interior was heat resistant material. Everyone seemed to say that theirs tolerated a hot iron immediately after use but no one could really answer the question about the material being *specially designed to resist heat*. It's not... Someone actually said they had not even considered whether or not it was made to tolerate heat but they ran their iron under cold water before they put it in the case.. I can't imagine why anyone would put an electronic object under running water, plugged in or not. By the way, the handle is a nice feature but when would I actually benefit from this? How often is a styling iron the only thing that you are carrying? I'm putting this case directly in my luggage. Unless you plan on waiting for your iron to cool everyday or you rarely use the iron you store in it, I imagine most people will be putting this case directly in their luggage as well. For the price, it offers amazing protection but no heat resistance. I have resolved to put my heat-proof stand around the iron before putting it in the case so that I don't have any surprise melting plastic puddles coming from my bag. Even with the stand around the plates, the case still shuts just fine. I would recommend this product, but I would not put a hot iron in it without something heat protective around it. ... show more

Perfect size cases for many things, not just electric toothbrushes & not for travel only. I use these cases for my hair styling tools storage (flat irons, straighteners), and I add small cans of styling mousse and hairspray to them when traveling. I also have a cases that neatly stores my hairbrushes and combs, hair clips and hair bands. I just stack one case on top of the other in front of my towels on a shelf for ease of use while still keeping my bathroom counters neat and free of clutter.
