Description

The Case Amber Bone CV Canoe is a part of the Amber Bone CV Family. Many Case users call on our traditional alloy steel blades to get the job done right while enjoying its ease of re-sharpening. The Canoe knife get its name from its canoe-like shaped handle. This durable folding knife features two blades on opposing ends and a peach seed jigged amber bone handle. The pen blade is great for light work and good for sharpening. The spear blade is used as a heavy-duty utility tool and great for piercing. The Canoe knife can be used for fishing related jobs like cutting hooks off lines, cleaning fish, and cutting through finishing line easily. Constructed with Case Tru-Sharp Stainless Steel, this knife has special high-carbon steel that helps the blades holds an edge longer than conventional steel. It also offers extraordinary blade strength and corrosion resistance. This pocket knife is suitable for everyday demands, hunting, or the outdoors. The slim design is perfect for a pocket or purse. • Beautiful knife
Size: 2.6" Color: Amber Bone
I cannot say enough about how beautiful this knife is. Real bone handles, polished steel and best of all...American made by American craftsmen/women. Darn right 'Merica!!!! This will be no show piece. I am replacing a Case trapper which is just a little too big in my jeans. This Canoe knife is perfect. I highly recommend this or really any other Case knife. It is worth the money to have an heirloom to pass on to the grand kids. Don't settle for the Chinese made crap. Spend the money, get a Case. ... show more

  • Fine pocket knife.
Size: 2.6" Color: Amber Bone
This knife looks great, and is easy to carry. I like the cv steel better than stainless because it takes a finer edge. This knife came with a decent machine edge, and with a few careful strokes on a diamond hone it would shave. I expect the blades to become gray with time, as they should. Great knife. ... show more

  • Great all around pocket knife.
Size: 2.6" Color: Amber Bone
I"ve always wanted a case canoe so when I lost my Boker lock blade I knew exactly what I was getting to replace it. I love the look and feel of it and it feels right at home in my front pocket. It came with a decent edge but I wanted it to shave so a few licks on a good stone and a few minutes on some leather and she shaves effortlessly. The blades are CV( HIGH carbon steel) and are very good at holding a razor sharp edge. So I hit my pocket knifes on some leather after I use them so they stay sharp allways. Plus they are made in the USA and have a lifetime warranty which is a plus if you actually use every day like I do. Can't go wrong with this one. I only wish it had a locking blade like my Boker did. 4 1/2 stars. ... show more

  • The Canoe you can use
Size: 2.6" Color: Amber Bone
Case knives have been around for a long time. This "canoe" knife is slightly larger than my other case knives due to the fatter blades, as you can see from the photo it has a nice picture etched showing a canoe on a river. Companies like this are a rare breed in today's market. Case Cutlery produce fantastic knives that are ageless classic design. Well Made: Top quality materials, stays sharp and easy to maintain, blades are sandwiched between two polished brass plates for smooth operation. Handle: Made from real bone, giving the knife a great appearance and sure grip. Everything about the knife spells craftsmanship. right down to the brass rivets, and mirror polished parts with a nice solid heft when holding the knife. ... show more

  • Nice knife, but no blade etching.
Size: 2.6" Color: Amber Bone
72 dollars for a Case Canoe with a suppose to be blade etching of a Native American in a canoe. The knife is fine, but there is no etching on the blade. Poor quality control. It is suppose to have a Native American in a canoe etched on the blade. As you see from the pictures, it does not. I returned the knife and ordered a replacement. The replacement knife has the proper etching, so I kept it. This is not good for the quality control of Case knives. I continue to collect many pocketknives, but will avoid buying Case knives in the future. ... show more

  • Old reliable
Size: 2.6" Color: Amber Bone
I have been carrying this knife in my pocket for over a year as my "go to" pocket knife. It replaced a "Swiss Army Knife". While I miss some features of my other knife (all the standards of a Swiss Army: screwdriver heads, scissors, etc.) the blades and classic look of the Case canoe knife have me sold on it. It has tackled everything from rope to wood (shaving bits off for fire starting and whittling), foam insulation to cardboard. A plain and simple knife that has been reliable. Yes, the blade has taken a slight patina, which is fine by me! Nature of the material. I would take Case's CV or high carbon blades over stainless almost any day. ... show more
