The depth makes it easy to soak large pans and rinse things without splashing everywhere. The width and depth make it possible to wash my cutting boards without soaking the whole kitchen. Easy to clean. The piece that protects the bottom (metal grate whatever you call it) keeps things quiet and prevents potential chips or scratches from dropping things. Highly recommend this product. My first farmhouse sink and I am loving it. I've looked at other cheaper offerings at Ikea just to get some perspective and from what I can see this blows those out of the water. This thing is large and in charge! It's built like a tank and if it's as durable as it is heavy then it should outlast me potentially. The aesthetic and look of the sink completely changed the whole feel and vibe of my kitchen. You should actually be prepared and consider then when shopping for a sink because its pretty dramatic. The white color and large size of this sink are striking and have become the focal point of my kitchen so its a big consideration. Aside from that it does what sinks do, drains water, holds plates/pans, and looks great. By the way, the extra stainless steel bottom grid that you get with this is indispensable to me now because it's so versatile. I can let large pots and pans drain in the sink with no fear of grime touching them if I please...nice touch. 8/10 I would recommend it. I hope this review is helpful. ... show more

I don't know why, but I expected this to be a light, cheap feeling sink. Oh man, was I wrong! This sink is solid! This sink should hold up forever, as it is built like a tank. It gets a TON of complements too, which I did not think was possible simply for a sink. Install was pretty difficult, just bc I didn't have an extra set up hands. You can mount this multiple ways depending on your setup (flush mount, under mount, etc). Very nice sink! ... show more

This sink looks super clean and modern so I love it! It is a little pricy but what isn't when you are doing home renovations. It has held up really well though overall so no complaints on durability.
