Purchased this back in September 23 (now late March 24) so we could have place to work on rebuilding my son's car out of the elements & noisy neighbors. We placed a large blue tarp to use over the dirt. We also hung several LED lights across the top & sides for lighting in the evenings. This worked really well. The 4 windows are held down with Velcro. There are 2 straps to hold them when fully rolled up & raised. You can use the Velcro to only open part way. These do really help with cross ventilation. I have found I can unzip both sides of the front & roll up from the center & only need to use the center straps to hold up, this is great for doing this with 1 person after coming home from work. I now use this to park one of our cars out of the elements as we only have a 2 car garage & 4 vehicles at our house. This was not too difficult for the 4 of us to assemble. Where this is placed there is about 6" of river rock just under the surface dirt so we are not able to stake down most of the poles. We do have some weights around the 4 corners to help hold in place / it's shape. I was able to use a different set of screw type anchors for the 2 large straps that helps hold this down. We have had several wind storms since setting up & no real movement of the tent. The sides do touch the ground but critters could crawl under if they wanted. Same for both zippered doors. On the back I am using straps to help tie down the rear corners to our fence. I am only using 1 rope on 1 corner so this is not in the way of parking around it. As far as snow goes this has held up well. Earlier this month we had a large & heavy wet snow storm of up to 18". Most of that snow did slide off the roof. Unfortunately a large branch broke due to the heavy snow & fell on the tent bending 1 top pole & 1 side pole along with puncturing in a few places. If that did not happen, we only would have had large piles on both sides. The seller was very responsive to us reaching out through order support. They were able to create a listing for the replacement items we needed to cover shipping. That shipped the next day & should be arriving in the next few days. So glad they were able to supply replacement items & being very responsive!!! So so far so good & just hoping no more branches getting broken & falling on this thing! ... show more

It was a great option for protecting my 7x14 motorcycle trailer from the elements. I'm particularly impressed with the features mentioned below: • Durability: Powder-coated steel, reinforced base plate, and ground stakes ensure the carport is built to last. • Value: Solar lights, a light belt, bindings, and windproof weighted sandbags are included. • Ventilation: Roll-up windows improve airflow and prevent moisture buildup. • Ease of setup: Numbered parts, clear instructions, spring buttons, and ball straps make setup and takedown easy. I set this up by myself and it took the afternoon to get it done. I would suggest that you have another person help you, it will make things go faster. Note: I used some plastic wire ties in place of the ball straps they provide. • Versatility: Removable sidewalls and doors allow the carport to be used for multiple purposes. • Nice big opening, It was easy to back my trailer right in. We got this to put a full sized pickup in that we didn't want to sit outside in the weather. It fits fine with a couple of feet of length to spare. There is plenty of room on either side also; you can open the doors to get in with no crowding. This shelter was easy to put together while following the directions that came with it. Two people put it together in about 2 hours total. The part that took the most time was putting the bungies on tightly since there were about 30 of them for the roof and the legs. It wasn't as hard to lift the roof up as you would think. We have had some wind in the short time since it has been up - one time we had a 40-45 mph steady wind with higher gusts for several hours - and it held up well. We did decide to replace the ropes it came with with ratchet straps to get some more security and to make it easier to tighten if they tie downs become loose. We also got heavier, longer stakes (off Amazon) because we live in an area with very rocky ground and the stakes that came with the shelter wouldn't go deep enough in our ground. But despite these two minor things, we would definitely buy this shelter again. It's a great value and is well made. ... show more
