I have to admit I had reservations about using this product. The idea of having a tablet sized touch screen device mounted on my motorcycle's handlebars was questionable to me because of the inherent distraction problems that doing so can cause. But, after giving this unit more than a few spins around the block, I now look at it as a welcome addition to my 2-wheel hobby. The large(r) screen turns out to be easier to get info from in quick glances, much better than squinting at my smaller phone screen, which this device has replaced on the bars. I also turned on the aptly named "driving ban video" setting in the Set-Up function, and that is something I recommend all users of this device do. It's easy to do and it makes us safer on the road. Videos can be viewed in garages after the ride is over! Other things I like include the handlebar mount which is very flexible and gave me many options for placement that didn't obscure my dash gauges and lights. Pairing to both my phone and my helmet com device was easy enough. Now I have the Android Auto app thanks to this device and that's a big addition for me as I really like using that app when driving. It makes phone calls, navigation and music listening even easier now. Two little could be betters are the super small print font used in the instruction manual (talk about squinting to see something), and the dash camera pictures, and use described in the same manual. No dash camera is included, just details of how to use one. The product itself works flawlessly and because it can be "neutered" to not play videos when moving, I'm a new convert to this bigger screen and I recommend it as a good product to purchase. ... show more

This is just a extended wireless display for your phone. Just FYI, I have only used with Android devices. The good- This connected via Android auto wireless easier and without stuck in the dreaded endless trying to connect loop better than premium aftermarket head unit, premium Android radio head unit, factory head unit, and cheap Android tablet head unit that I have in current vechiclnegotiation. It only has 2 wires to connect. A pos and neg. Screen is bright and unit is easy to mount. Aggravating issues--- Volume adjustment takes multiple selections/steps to get to, number of steps changes depending on what display interface is being used, and final volume slider popup is relatively small in addition to being finicky to adjust. There is no hard wired audio outputs. It has built in speakers that are almost useless and easily distort even at lower volume with any modern music that has bass in it. This happens with eq set flat and loudness turned off. If you utilize usb-c port, you loose waterproof rating. Overall, it's a water proof (I would call it highly resistant instead of proof) extended phone display. It can be used as a stand alone audio player if you insert SD card with music downloaded to it. But, it cannot download nor utilize offline maps by itself. If connected to phone, it can display anything on your phone via mirroring app or utilize Android auto easier than any device that I have used so far. It would be awesome for the utv market and probably boat market if had a hardwired audio output that did not affect waterproof rating. This would be easier and cheaper than having the almost worthless speakers. A external camera input would also be a nice addition. Any audio interface/controller should have easy volume adjustment as one of its primary objectives during design.     • Nice Android Auto/Carplay Unit For My Moped
This unit's display is nice and bright. It's got dual Bluetooth, so I can connect my phone to it at the same time that I connect the audio in my helmet. It's nice to have my music app and Google Maps on a screen larger that my cellphone. It's also nice to not have to worry about my phone falling out of the holder while I ride. This little touchscreen Android head unit for a motorcycle is like an all inclusive. Little package. Ready to go for your motorcycle. It's really easy to install. It comes with the little clasp that goes around your frame. And as long as you have some sort of sound system, either Bluetooth to your helmet or speakers, you will be up and running really quickly. This comes very well package and when unpacked you see the Smart Monitor and mounting device. Both are nice and solid in construction and look great. When you mount you run the power to your battery. The general Carplay (for iPhone) or Android Auto (for Android phones) will apply. I use Android and I really like Android Auto and it's features.
