This irrigation system is wonderful !! I have 10 pots that I have been watering all Summer. I live in Houston TX where the temperatures have been in 3 digits for the past 6 weeks with no end in sight. No rain. I was spending hours daily watering. I finally started researching the drip irrigation systems. I found some that were outrageously expensive. I found this one and the reviews I read, led me to conclude that this was would work for my needs. My husband and I set it up yesterday. I already had and unused timer. It took about 2 hours to set up. The instructions are very clear and there are videos for set up as well. I set it to water for 20 minutes at 5am this am. At 7am, I went out with my moisture gauge. I was pleased to see that my pots were all in a good moisture range, even better than when I was watering with a garden hose. Only one was a little spotty. I turned them on manually for 10 minutes. I adjusted the sprayer heads in that pot and went ahead and checked all of the others. These sprayers are super easy to adjust, just by turning the yellow top. Easy Peasy !!! I am so thrilled with this irrigation that I am going to install another one in by other set of pots. This is very reasonably priced. I had leftover parts enough to use for my remaining 4 pots. I was able to order the 5/12 main tubing separately which is the only item that I needed to complete this project. Many companies do not sell individual components, you have to purchase an additional kit. Cost savings and earth friendly practices. Side note. The kit is packed in cardboard and paper, no plastic. Can be recycled or even watered and added to the soil !! There was also an unexpected personal touch note from Veronica and Adrian, thanking me for purchasing their product and they are in Romania !! It was attached to a set of wooden stakes that you can write on to identify the plant in your garden and write the name on the wood.     • coupler to spigot doesn't rotate
this means that to screw the drip feed set onto or off the spigot you have to rotate all of the drip feed tubing with drippers through three revs in mid air each time. I expect this is to prevent leaks at the spigot, but hose manufacturers have learned to handle the problem. I bought a 3' hose for $20 at the hardware store that has rotating male and female couplers, designed for situations where you don't want the main hose to develope kinks. ... show more

    • Easy to install after planning your design
I created the drip system of about 70 feet in length with 50 emitters on multiple branches. The system was easy to work with. I am glad I designed my idea first in the landscape. Even with the design done, I still had to make some changes and the system was light enough and easy enough to work with to do that. Put it on a timer just days before my cruise. Worked like a charm...and I am 73 years old. And kudos to Carla with customer support. Friendly, quick, polite, articulate, and knowledgeable with ideas to winterize the tubing in the ground and covering up the emitters for the season. Support was phenomenal and well thought out.     • Easy, effective and efficient! Incredibly responsive customer service!
The entire system was very simple to install and 100% customizable. We have raised bed gardens that have a wide variety of watering needs and all it took was a little tweeking to get the exact right amount of water to each type of plant in each respective location. After a very successful growing season, I had a question about winterizing the system. Carpathen responded within hours (on a weekend!) with incredibly detailed instructions. Works as advertised. Easy to assemble. Off size tubing so order multiple units if you need them to complete your project. I was able to install mine in about a hour using most of the parts.

I bought this system because we had raised garden beds and buckets that we planted tomatoes in this year. I really liked that you could adjust the water pressure at each sprinkler and the install was a breeze with only a pair a scissors and a grill lighter. Using this product to water my raised beds. I liked the packaging and setup wasn’t difficult. However, 4/10 of the vortex caps emit in a cardioid shape due to the little arrow indentation showing which way to twist. It seems it’s catches and redirects the water or something. Needs a new design.
