Initially, I got this set because of all the great reviews, and it did not disappoint. I love the design, I love how lightweight they are yet they are great quality. They heat up evenly and easy to clean. Although I was missing an item from the set, I reached out to customer service and they were very quick to get back to me. I actually took a while to reply back to them and once I did, they got back to me the very next day and they shipped out my item with the little extra for the inconvenience, which in all honesty, it was not an inconvenient because I did not need that item right away, but I am glad I now have the complete package. I purchased these pots and pans as a Christmas gift for my wife, who is the primary cook in our household. Initially, we were impressed with their aesthetic appeal and the comfortable feel they offer. These cookware items are notably lighter than our older Calphalon set, making them easier to handle. It's worth mentioning that while the handles have a wood-like appearance, they are not made of wood and will burn your hand if you touch them while hot. In terms of performance, during our limited usage, they have demonstrated even cooking, which is a significant plus. Furthermore, following the manufacturer's recommendation to allow them to cool down before cleaning, we found them exceptionally easy to clean. However, the main issue we encountered relates to the handles. Although they have an attractive design, we experienced a durability concern. During the very first use, while boiling eggs on medium heat, a portion of the handle unexpectedly broke off with a loud pop. We were surprised to find a piece of the handle on our griddle cover. I've attached pictures taken immediately after this incident, including one of the underside of the handle. In summary, we are quite fond of these pots and pans with the exception of their durability. Given this issue, we are considering returning them and exploring alternative options. We are also looking into the possibility of getting a replacement pot to prevent any safety concerns related to the handle. It's worth noting that our experience may be an isolated incident, as we haven't come across similar reports in the few Amazon reviews we've read. I'll update this review to share the resolution once it's reached. UPDATE 01/11/2024: After posting my above update, I planned to reach out to Carote. I was not able to do so that day and when I was about to do so two days later, I noticed I had already received an email from Carote Brands via my Amazon account. By reaching out to me, they saved me additional time of having to reach out to them. They resolved the issue in a way which leaves me completely satisfied and will to try their products going forward. As for our pans, they have been working really well. I am still continually surprised at how light weight they are based on how the look. The non-stick feature has been very good as well. Even when letting melted cheese dry in the pot, I soak it in water for about ten minutes and then everything wipes out with a sponge. I haven't had any issues with cooking food or cleaning the dishes. Due to the warning in the packaging and the warnings in the instructions, we keep a cloth between the pans/pots that we are stacking to protect the material. I have updated my 2-star review to 4 stars to reflect their excellent customer service and the quality of the product, with the exception of my first review. I will update this in the future if I can remember or if someone reaches out. ... show more

So beautiful and usually so easy to clean! Unfortunately my husband burned the small skillet and I scrubbed and scrubbed and soaked for days and finally managed to get the bottom clean using repeated scrubbing with Barkeepers powder, miracle sponge and finally vinager (which I think did the trick), so the bottom is clean again but there seems to no way to clean the outside. So bummed. Not the products fault, just my husband. So now I have a skillet with a beautiful inside and bottom but burned sides. I hang my pots and pans so I am completely bummed to have one that isn't as perfect as the rest. ... show more

I purchased the Carote pots/pans set back in February, loving its unique beige color and affordable pricing. It cooks wonderfully. I recently ruined my smaller casserole by leaving eggs on the stove until the water boiled out. I looked for a replacement to purchase and didn't find one for sale so contacted Carote customer service for assistance. They confirmed they do not sell individual pieces. Although damage caused by my negligence is not covered by warranty, Carote worked with me and then sent me a replacement!!
