    • Cool, but takes to long to load
It's cool to use with all the functions of an android device. However, it takes way too long to load up. You have to turn on mobile Hotspot on your phone and it takes a few minutes for the device to get connected. So if you need the gps quickly in the morning, this is annoying.     • Support is not available, product broke in the first two months.
Unit stopped working. I tried to contact their support a couple of times and finally got an email stating to go thru what was about an hour of downloads and flashing the software on the unit. That process failed 4 times. I contacted Amazon and they said that I have exceeded my 30 day window for return so I am stuck with Carlinkit support who is telling me to contact Amazon. What a mess ... show more

I waited a few weeks to test it out and I have to admit, it far exceeded my expectations. I made sure to order the 8gb/128gb version. It's worth it. I was able to get every video app I wanted and 90% of them work perfectly. It doesn't run slow or lag. And the video quality is great! Some people complained about fps but I don't notice at all. Also audio quality has been perfectly fine as well for both apps and Bluetooth audio from my phone. I Highly recommend this product. I love even more that this device can easily be unplugged from one car and put in another. I have a 2018 Ford EcoSport, and the device has had no issue what so ever formatting the correct screen size. The only thing is what I've seen in the comments, you have to reconnect wifi when switching from carplay back to the android interface. Other than that one small thing, this is the best thing I have ever bought for my car. ... show more
