I actually bought two of these for my mother. One for each side of her bed. She has mobility issues and these help her reposition in bed. I used these on a single bed. They are very sturdy. My mother weighs 230lbs. And these rails stay in place. The only issue I had in assembly was attaching the horizontal bar to stabilize the upright portion of rails. Please carefully look at the instructions and you will see what I mean. But once that is in the rail is super stable. I would highly recommend these for some who needs help getting in and out of bed. Definitely NOT intended to use to keep someone from falling out of bed. ... show more

If all you need is an assist for getting into and out of bed, this is a great product at a great price. If the little pouch that comes with this product is an important feature, then maybe this isn't the right product for you. When I attached the pouch to the rail, the fastener broke through the material to which it was attached. The pouch was not a requirement, only the assist it provides for getting in and out of bed. I purchased this for my mother who’s in her 80’s. She couldn’t be happier with it. She’s had surgery on both shoulders and would not be able to get in or out of bed without the assistance of this bed rail. Great purchase.
