    • Exact replacement.. Much easier than trying to clean an old gummed-up carb.
Did the job on my 196 cc Briggs on a Brute generator. Fired right up after I installed it, (almost)…….. One thing to note. This carb has an adjustable mixture jet that my origional did not have. Be sure this jet is adjusted to the proper setting or the engine will not start - or it will run poorly. Screw it in til it seats lightly - then back it out 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 turns. Also, I’m sure all of you small engine mechanics already know to use only the best grade non-ethanol gas in these engines and add a good fuel stabilizer additive. Do this and you won’t be buying any more after-market carbs. ... show more
