I’ve got a small 30 inch TroyBilt riding mower (it’s not a 0 turn or anything). The drawstring at the bottom allows me to make a snug fit. We had poor weather the day the mower cover arrived. I managed to install before it started raining. Got up to check on things the next day, and this product held up great. The drawstring allowed me to get a snug fit just under the tires. Just got it and put it on.. Material seems as heavy duty and good as my Cub Cadet cover that blew away. No snow or rain yet but I will guess it’s water proof. It says and it is a universal fit so it isn’t a contoured fit but it didn’t cost $90 like the Cub Cadet cover either. The fit will work however the width doesn’t quite make it over my 46” mowing deck on the right side so I have that side of the deck sticking out and uncovered and the length just barely makes it around all 4 tires to drawstring tight so hopefully it won’t blow away. So on my lawn tractor I guess I should have gotten the bigger size but I read this would be good up to a 54” deck (My Cub is a 2007 though and there could be a lot of changes including x amount of size. ... show more

I really like how this cover feels with its thickness of material and strength. But the thing I like most is the drawstring which allows me to cinch it down beneath the wheels of the lawn mower to keep wind from scooping it up and off the mower and through the neighborhood. I had to chase down my previous cover several times after a windy day, but with this one it stays on securely and protects the mower from sun and rain. ... show more

    • Definitely rain proof & durable
This has been a great mower cover. Keeps the rain & snow off the rider. Super thick waterproof material. Has held up for over a year with just some slight fading of the green. Some moisture does collect inside because the material is also air proof. Fits John Deere's up to 42in decks. I've use it on my John Deere LT155 & bought one for a customers John Deere 130. The larger 145 & 325 mowers need the larger size because they're a little longer & have 50in decks. Also if yours has the optional front push bumper, it won't quite pull over that but still secures nicely. Or if you have a bagger / grass collection system, you'll need a much larger cover. ... show more

    • It’s ok for the John Deere L110

The good: I just put it on my John Deere L110. I got the premium Xl. With out the hopper on the back it’s over sized for my tractor. That’s a good thing. It’s a little baggy but completely covers the entire machine including wheels and mower deck. It has two adjustable straps stitched in that are convenient to cinch up to hold it in place. It’s a nylon material with a thin waterproof barrier liner bonded to the inside. I don’t know if it would be large enough to cover the bagger if attached but I don’t use it anymore. So size is great with extra room. The bad: When I took it out of the nice storage bag it felt very nice and heavy duty. Then I realized that the inner barrier, being brand new, had to be pulled apart to completely open it up. I realize then that the cover became 1/2 the thickness I first thought it was. Too bad if it was the double thickness it felt like before completely opening it up I would say winner for sure. But in the end it’s still just a cheap thin cover that left in the sun will fade and become brittle in probably a season. I have the idea all the covers here on Amazon are about the same. So I’ll keep it. The XL size fits with extra room. I will just have to cover the cover with the cheap blue tarp I was using previously to protect the cover from sun damage. I’m sure this product will give my machine good protection. Just have to protect the protection. LOL. From other reviews I’ve read, I suggest if your machine is stored in the sun you throw a cheap tarp over it to prolong its life. The cover itself is adequate to protect from rain and snow. It’s upsetting that it’s advertised as being thick. It’s not. It does have a waterproof barrier thou. I suspect the cheaper model is just nylon without the extra waterproof liner. So I suggest getting this model over the standard. ... show more
