I haven't installed this yet but looks good my log splitter tank is 5 years old and starting to rust out. This shouldn't be a problem provided I don't drop a log on it.

Direct mount with correct gas line fitting and placement. Gas cap is a bit awkward for filling due to its position on the tank. Cap is centered, I needed it offset to right side.

Bolted right on and works fine, the mountings were identical.. functioned well and great value... If I had something not to my liking is the gas cap. Its a bit lightly constructed but works ok for now. The original gas cap is much heavier and larger, was easier to use. The original cap does not screw on to the new tank so I had to use the one that came with the tank.. It works, I would just be a little more happy if I could use the original cap on it. ... show more

All is good except for the cap it pours gas as motor runs
